This is the most touching mpreg I've seen yet... Although, it's not like I've seen everything out there, lol... but they wanted someone who has been through it to be able to identify... and it actually choked me up, because I have so much compassion for pregnant people now, and the fact that they captured the sensitivity of it with a man has that much more impact. Like he's learning it for all the guys who were insensitive to pregnancy before... Every little chore, like decorating and sitting on a bus is riddled with discomfort and difficulty, yet for some reason you persevere and even find yourself smiling. If it doesn't challenge you and make you a better person, nothing will. I find it great that this captured the essence of what the pregnancy journey was to me, which is to feel your selfishness shedding away, as you feel your values, the very things that make you who you are changing, and you can't do anything about it. It's so surreal.
I think I would have liked that video, even if it wasn't mpreg-based. I found the song to be really upbeat and inspiring.
Does anyone have a high quality copy of this music video that I can get my hands on? It’s all but been erased here in the US except for a few pictures.
It is also possible to watch it on his album “The Hits”, but only if you get the deluxe version with the included DVD, which has all of his music videos up until that point.
