"Will still be a lottery as to how long I live, but I'm told that when I was born I had an identical twin but never got to know him, and since he is the one giving me the heart, I won't need to take anti-rejection meds because we're the same DNA, so my chances of winning the life lottery will be better than they would be if I had an unknown donor." Darol replied.

"I should also tell you that when I found out I needed a heart transplant, I also asked about having my lungs donated, so I'm also getting my brother's lungs, because my lungs are going to a young child with cystic fibrosis." Darol smiled. "So I will be getting and giving the gift of life, and would not hesitate to do the same for you and our potential children and I'm also getting cells banked just in case anything happens and I need another new organ."

Note: I'm making it up as I go along.
Darol noticed, and without hesitation...
"I think you are pregnant." Darol looked at Cliff. "And this whole cell banking thing, is a new thing, and should I, or you, or our potential babies, need something done in the future and it involves an organ transplant, then we can get whatever we need custom-made to suit our bodies. Would you be up for it? I hear the doctors involved are looking for more cells to bank, and they will even keep them for cloning should that be the only option available."
The ambulance then arrived.
"And we are ready to get going now." Darol smiled.

"You are showing a lot of the symptoms associated with pregnancy." Darol looked at Cliff whilst being checked. "And I am going to sound like a crazy person when saying this but I have been looking forward to this day for these tests are painful but at least they're helping with info for when my new heart and lungs get installed into my chest."

Cliff smiled, he did not think Darol sounded crazy at all.

Then the ambulance arrived at the hospital, and before anyone knew it, it was OR time. 6 hours later, the operation was over. It was a success, and the next day, Darol woke up, and the brave decision was made to take him off the ventilator. Success also.
"Did the doctor see you yet?" Darol croaked.

"Yeah" Cliff answered "He did. Theres 3 of them, but the genders are unknown. They say I have been pregnant for a month and half."
