Marty then took Kaidan's hand and led him to a river bank. It was very quiet, and the only things keeping them company were the moon and the stars.

He followed, feeling calmly as they left the more busy street behind. He stetted beside Marty and pressed close, looking up at the wide range of stars with a grin.

He looked about. "Here, where is it?"

"I don't need a particular place to call home." Marty replied. "Home is wherever I want it to be."

"Oh", he nodded looking down before he smiled. At least he would always be home, never lost.

"At one with nature, and it offers much better protection than those man-made cases because at least we can hear danger coming." Marty then said.

He nodded, his unique background led him to like the outdoors am lot. But he also enjoyed indoor places, as long as he felt safe.

He agreed once more, yawning and leaning against Marty, eye lids all of the sudden heavy.

Marty could sense the tiredness, and himself grew tired.

Kaidan fell asleep, comforted by the bright sky and Marty. He curled up close, purring lightly.

Marty could feel the warmth that Kaidan was giving, and could tell that there was going to be more of it.

Kaidan sleeps until the dawn light awakes him. he sits up slowly, looking about confused.

Marty is already up, gathering nuts and berries. "How are you feeling?" Marty asks Kaidan.

"Good, bit sore but good", he smiled, watching the other male work. The berries looked good.
