Gio rests for a few breaths and pushes again.

(was just wondering, but yeah, it's a bit of a problem for him, though it will be there in case).

"You can take that off for a bit if it's bothering him," she tells Dr. Takeda quietly. "Just keep it in reach," she adds. "Good push Gio."

Dr Takeda takes the mask off, which Gio is happy about. Gio nods, and when the next contraction comes on, he pushes as hard as he can.

"Good, you're already bulging," she smiles up at him.

(I expected Dr. Takeda to be more affectionate, wanting to get in the tub and all. I love complex characters like him :) )
