Howie slowly got used to this lifestyle. Raising a child was a difficult job, but he didn't want to give up so easily. He was just learning parenting.
He did not maintain contact with others. He didn't want to. He was a loner. Ever since he split up with Daniel and the latter left him, he's been a gray mouse. Quiet and unobtrusive

The nurse check all the patients room for the night before going back to the nurse station and she didn’t see Howie. She enter more in the room and she see him on the floor.
