"Anywhere but here."He said simply and stumbled slightly before collapsing onto his knees and holding the baby tighter so he wouldn't slip from his grasp. Dust fluttering down, he realized that he was trapped now and fear coursed through him, he looked up towards the growing gaps in the ceiling and couldn't help but dread being free again. "I stand no chance at all."He replied and looked at the man of iron.

"You have a chance of explaining yourself." Tony moves to help Loki up once again. "And you have a better chance of walking out of here with him."

"Explaining myself? Then getting thrown in prison?"He shook his head then looked towards the boy in his arms as Stark helped him up to his feet again,"No. You may want to believe that, but they won't allow that... All of the death and...just destruction I've caused... I'm not."He let the human hold him up and took his sceptre in his grasp tightly, activating it so it glowed a bright blue. "Either help me... Or stay out of my way."He had tunnel vision now, only worried about the well being of himself and his son.

Tony stares at him for a second or two. "Then give him to me." He takes his hands away from Loki before looking down at the infant still held against his chest.

It was now Loki's turn to stare at the human for a long moment, then down at the infant in his arms as he closed his eyes for a moment then leant in to kiss his head softly. He sighed and met Stark's eyes,"You be careful with him or I'll rip your arms off."He told him simply, standing in front of him for a moment as they looked at each other then he gathered the baby up in his arms to hand him over to the mortal.

Tony takes the newborn in his arms carefully, setting Amery carefully into the crook of his arm before he looks at Loki once again. "I will."

Loki rested Amery in the humans arms, looking down at his son for a long moment and stroking his hair gently before kissing his head. Then looking up at Stark, his hands touching the other male's shoulders before he pulled away again, and taking his septyre. Turning towards the gaping holes that were growing wider and disappearing soon after he gave his son over in a bright flash of light. The baby stirred with small whinings, the voices above growing louder and soon bomb sounds blasting over head. As the Hulk grabbed stones and tossed them away, along with Thor and the Captain,"Stark!"Natasha called,"Stark! You alive down there?!"

Tony was sure to shield Amery from the dust and other debris that fell before turning his attention toward the opening only to blink as he was momentarily blinded by the sunlight. "Yeah, I'm alright, just get me out of here."

Amery let his small hands curl into fists against the humans chest and his eyes drifted shut as he fell back to sleep in the man's arms. Loki was no where to be seen any more, almost as if he had vanished into thin air as the Avengers broke into the decimated lab. "Here. Let me give you a hand."She said and reached down to Tony, though The Captian noticed the baby over her shoulder and looked surprised,"You saved a baby?"

Tony looks up at him for a minute in surprise before nodding quickly. "Uh...yeah, his momma must've gotten separated from him during everything." He shrugs lightly. "The little guys been keeping me company while I waited."

The Cap smiled slightly as his head tilted while he looked at the boy closely,"A handsome one, isn't he?"He shifted his shield onto his back and turned to the others,"Let's get going. Medical attention for Stark and the child and anyone else we find alive."He ordered and the group took a moment before parting ways with a hurry in their step, ready to find other survivors. "I'll make sure they get there."Thor spoke up, staying put and Steve looked to him with a nod before jogging off as well.

Tony finally tears his gaze away from Amery to look at Thor as he finally manages to escape the collapsed basement. Tony glances around the city, noticing the destruction that was left by the invasion.

"He looks new."Thor mentioned with a slight smile, patting his friend on the back heartily, then gesturing in the way of the emergency tents that were set up downtown. "We should hurry."He mentioned, then looked up towards the skies and the slanting buildings that still had glass falling from them,"It's unstable in the town."He began trekking across the open space of crumbled roads covered in dust and dead aliens.

Tony glances down at Amery for a moment before following Thor through the rubble. When he finally arrived at one of the tents he watched closely as the nurses examined Amery before moving to clean his minor cuts and bruises.

Thor sat with Stark as the nurses did as they did, looking between them and him for a few moments then speaking,"How do you suppose to find his mother?"He asked curiously once the nurses were away and taking note of the baby, fitting him with a diaper and a swaddle.

Tony shrugs lightly. "If she's still alive, she'll come looking, hopefully." There was no way Tony was going to be the one to tell Thor the truth. That was Loki's job, and he would leave it to him.

Amery was awake with all the commotion and new faces, as if he already understood his existence and was surprised to see other faces besides his fathers and Tony's. The baby looked around without falter at anything that moved, his eyes bright and green just like the man who birthed him as he chewed on his fist. The nurses bringing him back to Tony for keeping, the god of thunder looked down at the child and smiled softly,"So we have a new member of the team."He mentioned playfully and reached gently to let his pinky knuckle brush against the boy's cheek,"Hope you're used to children, Stark."

"I've actually never even held one in my entire life, except now." Tony watches the interaction between Thor and Amery and smiles softly. "Why don't you go help look for survivors? I think I can handle him for a bit."

"Alright."He nodded as he moved to stand up to his feet,"I will tell everyone that you both are holding up."He grabbed Mjölnir with one hand then lifted a hand in a wave before leaving the tent finally. Though the two weren't left alone, soon a male nurse came over towards Tony and Amery, he took a wipe and cleaned the infants face of slob and dried milk. "Has he eaten again?"Loki asked in a quiet voice, attempting not to draw much attention to himself as he couldn't help coming back to see him even after only an hour or two.
