In the year 2059, the Earth was attacked by an alien race known as the Apex. The Apex attacked without warning or reason. After 5 years, Earth was destroyed, rendering it uninhabitable. Humanity managed to escape and survive on ships, finding the deepest parts of the galaxy in order to hide away from the Apex. Some humans found new homes among other alien species.
Now, 50 years have passed and most humans have stayed hidden away from galactic civilization. One human has made himself a name as a smuggler of goods and illegal products, but soon he'll be smuggling something a little more precious.
