John Waters was starting his first year of teaching math at the local university, and had only been a high school teacher up until he finished his PhD. The university board had him teaching freshman level classes to break him in.

Henry cussed under his breath. He thought he had maybe overslept again. "Henry..." He answered bitterly.

"Well Henry," John said, eyeing him closely, "you're to come see me during my office hours at 7 o'clock tonight to go over the information you missed. It's very important."

Henry pouted. How late was he? Could they have gone over something serious on the first day? Oh well, no time to mope about it now. He entered his teacher's office at exactly seven. He was not happy about this, since this would take time off of his other studies.

"Henry," John said upon noticing his appointment arrival. "What do you want out of this experience, here at college?" He saw the confused look on Henry's face and continued. "Apart from important general information regarding the course, you also missed a get-to-know-you session we had. I like to know my students. So please, Henry, tell me about yourself."
