((I saw a couple of threads from a while back that were Les Miserables, so I thought I would try my luck.))
Enjolras looked out over the crowd of people gathered in front of General Lamarque's house as he finished speaking, wiping sweat from his forehead. His heavy belly weighed him down and made it difficult to move quickly, and his back and ankles ached from standing for so long, but he was determined to continue rallying support for the cause. He placed a hand over his eight-month bump, the huge curve of it swelling out of his unbuttoned shirt; his waistcoat was left undone, as was his jacket, as he had outgrown them months ago.
