This is a question more for the admins, mods, etc. as well as Lyric.

Does anyone of you know why there is a wait time in between replying to different posts?

I've seen something similar to this quite a few times already and was immediately confuzzled. Hopefully someone knows why there's a wait period and relieves me of my confuzzlement by clarifying. Thank you!

It's a protection against spam. Spambots can make multiple replies in multiple threads in just a second, so the wait is in place to make sure that the board doesn't get flooded like it has been the past few months.

To the best of my knowledge, it was turned off but Lyric must have turned it back on recently.
