I've had some trouble finding videos of Jacob York online. Here's one connected to his Facebook page, in which he takes the familiar "ice bucket challenge." https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=359...=2&theater

Sexy fellow, isn't he?

Is that film available for the people living outside USA when it's released?

Really? There's plenty of videos of him around:

On his official Facebook:

A short film he was in called "Rooney's World". The full film is available on IMDb:
http://www.imdb.com/rg/VIDEO_PLAY/LINK//...386441753/

Also, he was in one of Matt Riddlehoover's first feature films titled "Bookends".

It may be, you can try asking the director, Matt Riddlehoover.

After seeing all of the snippets of the backstage photos of the film, I realize now that this film will be the greatest male pregnancy film to date when it's released...it may just even be better than the screenplay I wrote and am currently planning to film next year. I have yet to watch the movie, but by seeing those backstage photos, I have to give Matt some serious props!

In this story, Greg may have some "company", but I'll leave that as a surprise for now! ;)

I can't wait to get a chance to speak with Matt!

Could you share some of those backstage photos, mprego2? I'm dying to see more of those.

All of the backstage photos came from Jacob York's official Facebook page. He chronicled all 6 days he was there for the shoot, he wrapped up the last of his part on Saturday, although he mentioned that Matt Riddlehoover had one more day of shooting without him.

Some additional backstage stuff could be found on other various cast members' pages.

Now, if you are expecting more belly stuff, that's not the case. Pretty much the photo of the heavily pregnant Greg and his doula, Thomas, are the only belly photos as of now, in fact, don't expect any more of those until the still photography for the movie are released.

With that in mind, what I am referring to is the content of the posts. If you pay attention and read what is written you'll figure out some awesome stuff about the movie!

Also, when I said that Greg may not be alone, there is a pretty surprising reason for that, that I discovered on another cast member's page! I will just post the screenshot I took later, since I can't on my phone right now! :)

OK, where to begin...

The thing about Greg not being "alone" is a good start!

Check this out, seems like actor Jared Allman will be joining to fray!

Apparently, this film will have a message to get out...

Look Greg is getting an ultrasound with his hubby, Ken!

Finally, who's up for witnessing a beautiful natural homebirthing session!

These are only a few photos that further proves that this film, by Matt Riddlehoover, will be THE GREATEST film regarding male pregnancy EVER!!!!!!!!!!

Is it to late to contribute? Like from the website?

Nope, it's never too late, especially since the film is now officially in postproduction! They will need funds for the post expenses.

You can contribute on the official film website!

I thought it would take longer to shot the movie. Will it just be a short film then?
Reply

No, this will be a feature. Films honestly only take no more than a week to film, regardless of it being a short or feature. It is rarely longer than a week because production starts becoming quite expensive after a week, so it is not in a filmmaker's best interest financially to film any longer than that.

Filmmakers shoot hours and hours of footage, only to cut it down to 1 1/2 to 2 hours for a feature length film. Everyday in the production week multiple scenes are shot, and most of the time the scenes are shot out of order and edited to the appropriate position in the final edit. So on each day of production filmmakers film a "in-universe time period" over up to a course of a couple of days or months or years or even decades depending on how long the course of the story in the screenplay spans.

So, a bit of movie magic there, lol! I know all the tricks being a film student myself! :D

Oh, btw guys, the official Facebook page for Paternity Leave has uploaded some behind-the-scenes photos! Some which are completely new even to me!

A feature film?! I'm guessing it won't be getting a very big release either? Either way, this just gets me hyped the more I hear about it. Though I thought it was supposed to be Chris Salvatore who was supposed to be getting preggo? Well, at least Jacob York is still hot. Nice to see them finally picking more attractive males to become pregnant unlike others (with the exception of the Daddy short)

I believe Matt will be submitting the film to film festivals.

Oh, and I'm thinking of getting Jacob York's prosthetic belly... O.O
