River whimpered and nodded grabbing his hand tightly before he pushed down again finally feeling the head release he gasped out

"The head is out, baby. You're doing so good!" Cinder grins as he reaches down to gently support the pup's head.

River nodded panting heavily “It hurts so bad” he said shaking tears in his eyes before he bowled out at another contraction bearing down again

"I know it does but the first pup will be here soon, then you can take a break and rest" Cinder nuzzles him.

River nuzzled him back tiredly shaking a little before helping at another harsh contraction pushing down as hard as he could

Cinder holds River close and rubs his back.

River nuzzled his mate whimpering in pain before howling lightly at another contraction bearing down

"Keep going, baby. You're doing great!" Cinder cheers him on.

River growled “Get it out of me!” He yelled pushing down as hard as he could

"I can't yet, you still have to get the shoulders out first" Cinder explains.

River cried out “They’re not out yet? I’ve been pushing so long” he said tiredly

"I know, baby. The first pup is almost here, you'll be able to rest soon" Cinder nuzzles and grooms River.

River nuzzled back tiredly before howling out at another pain and pushed down as hard as he could, his face going bright red

Cinder gently tugs on the pup, carefully wiggling the shoulders free.

River panted quickly and pushed down again trying to help get it the last bit free

Cinder finally manages to pull the pup out.

River laid back breathing heavily “Is the pup okay?” He asked worriedly, not sure if not knowing had affected it at all

The pup squeaks and starts crying "He's perfectly fine" Cinder grins and passes the pup to River.

River breathed heavily trying to get his breath back “Hi there” he said softly
