Once they were signed in with the front desk, Ocean wrapped his arm around Desmond and led him over to a set of chairs that put themselves at a distance from everyone else. It wasn't that he didn't trust other X-Mutants, it was just a delicate situation and he was nervous enough without having to be right on top of someone else "I know what you mean..." He kissed Desmond's temple and settled a hand on the bump that was just barely there, lightly rubbing at it "I'm just worried about our little one and how it's doing... But I feel like this is a normal everyday parent fear, too, which is a relief, knowing that we're maybe doing something right by having all these worries, fears and doubts."
They watched as couples were called back, and then sent out of the building, smiles on their faces. More couples came in, as did single folks, which of course was rather sad, though they did not speculate anything, there was a million reasons as to why someone would show up to a doctor's appointment like this without a significant other. The nurse at the desk called Desmond's fake last name a few times, and Ocean jumped slightly "Shit... That's us." He whispered, grabbing onto Desmond's hands and carefully helping him up to his feet "Come on then." He led him toward the opened door, smiling and apologizing at the nurse, claiming that they had both gotten rather lost in thought -which was true.
