Kayden nodded feigning as much confidence as he could muster. It would work, he told himself. It would help Alex get through this faster and soon the children would be safe in Edward's arms. Alex's legs started to tremble as the next contraction started. His breath was ragged but he bared down and began to push. Kayden placed his hand over the boy's anus. He pressed hard. He could see the shock and agony in Alex's face but he didn't stop. Instead he leaned in, sending even more pressure through the boy's rectum. It would hurt, but hit would give Alex a grounding. Something tangible to work towards and let his hole stretch. The boy whimpered, crawling at the counter. As the contraction continued, the whimper morphed into an agonized scream.
"Concentrate, Alex. Use it. Push towards me. You can do this."
