The magazine Beā¢Love has already produced some anime and live-action series from some of it's manga titles, here's to this getting it's own adaptations!
If so, they would need to add a lot more story detail. One of the things about KHFP is the fact that at times it feels unfocused. Sakai Eri was clearly more interested in the social commentary, but at that cost, it doesn't delve into the personal character dilemmas. For example: we don't know what went through Kentaro's head prior to meeting Aki and becoming pregnant. We do see the event of the two meeting from Aki's perspective, but aside from Kentaro mentioning his childhood and him discovering his blunder, we don't know much of his personal opinion. He has brief fleeting doubt, but immediately accepts the prospect of being a father. The side characters in the first manga also seem inconsequential and could use some more personal detail. The follow-up manga forgets about them and moves on to new characters who take up the majority of the story with Kentaro, Aki and Kotaro feeling more like side characters. I would still like to see them do something with it however, and seeing as how Eri, who usually writes Josei manga, wants men to read it, indicates that there could be something in the future.
