Jace smiled brightly and pushed his body back against his husband’s as much as he could, wanting as much physical contact as possible. He placed his hand on top of Michaels gently so he could feel any movement from the baby throughout the night.
Several hours later at about 3am Jace woke with the familiar dread and got out of his husband’s embrace running to their ensuite quickly before starting his morning ritual of vomiting for several hours. He whimpered quietly as he vomited several times in succession, feeling the caramel from the ice cream scorch his throat as he vomited it all back into the toilet. His body shook a little, both from his quiet sobs of “Please stop” and the exhaustion his body was feeling.
