The shakiness and loss of balance confused the Duchess a bit and he could still feel his head spinning. When he felt his husband help him back onto the bed, he breathed a sigh of relief on one side. But he also felt that now he would not be swayed by sleep and would probably want to talk to him.
When he was on the bed he began soothingly stroking his stomach and breathing through his nose. "It's okay now. Thank you for your help," he said quietly, and then covered himself. Unfortunately, he won't drink milk. Well, he'll do without that pregnancy craving. He now had to calm the Duke, who looked as if he had seen a ghost. Fabian was a bit of a goofball. It was kind of funny.
