(Haha, all good, I don’t mind too much. I had an idea for after this, maybe it’s a few years again and they go on another trip without the kids and Jace has just taken a test and found out he’s pregnant but he actually goes into labour while they’re away and maybe they don’t bring their phones and their car stops working or something but he thinks it’s a miscarriage maybe? Cause he’s not really showing at all because the baby is sitting more on his back? And then after that we could figure out a new idea if you would like?)

Jace hummed lightly as he shook up a breakfast shake because the power was still out and he knew his boyfriend would probably be hungry. He wandered back into the bedroom and pushed Steve’s hair from his face gently “Hey babe, sorry, I know it’s a bit cold but we still have no power so a shake is the best I could do” he said leaning down kissing his boyfriends head softly

(That sounds fun! I really like that idea, they could run out of gas or maybe pop a tire and get stranded in their car?)

"Th-Thank you, babe" Steve smiles a bit and slowly sits up to take the shake from his boyfriend, his hands trembling a bit as he grabs the drink "I wish we could turn on my heating pad, my back is killing me" He pouts.

(Yeah, or maybe get to wherever they’re going and when they go to head to the hospital the car won’t start?)

Jace sat behind him again and massaged his back gently “I’m sorry baby, you know if I could help I would” he said softly and continued rubbing his back “How about we try and distract you, hmm?” He said and pushed his hair back lightly “Any names you’re thinking of?”

Jace hummed and nodded “I like both of those, but what if it’s two hours or two girls?” He chuckled softly still gently rubbing his back

"Jason and Levi or Amelia and Luna" Steve replies, smiling at him.

Jace smiled gently at his boyfriend “I really love them” he said softly running his fingers through his boyfriends hair lightly “How do you think Chase will react with two crying babies around” he laughed lightly

"He seems to handle loud noises pretty well, I think he'll be okay" Steve smiles.

Jace hummed “Maybe, but I wonder what he’ll think when the four of us are crying because of no sleep” he teased playfully and went back to rubbing his back digging his fingers into the muscles

"He'll probably join in on the cry-fest" Steve laughs before cringing and grabbing his stomach "S-Something just happened..."

Jace rubbed his back gently looking at him concerned “What do you mean? What happened?” He asked confused looking at his boyfriend worriedly

"I think one of the babies just dropped..."

Jace swallowed roughly “Are you sure? The baby dropping doesn’t mean it’s necessarily coming soon does it?” He asked worriedly

"I'm sure...I can feel one of them resting lower than before. It could mean that they're coming soon, but it could still take a few days..." Steve replies anxiously "But I don't think that's the case with those pains I've been having"

Jace looked at his boyfriend concerned “But the pains have been coming randomly, they haven’t settled into a pattern so it will still be at least a while” he said anxiously “Maybe we should go to a hospital now just to be safe” he said before standing and wrapping an arm around him gently

"Good idea" Steve nods "I should text my moms when we get to a place with reception to let them know what's going on"

Jace smiled gently at his boyfriend and led him towards the door grabbing his keys before opening the door to vicious winds with snow falling quickly. He closed the door again quickly “Okay, this is fine. We have at least probably 6 or 8 hours before your contractions are close together, so the storm could calm down and we can get to the hospital in time”

"O-Okay... we can handle this, right?" Steve smiles nervously as he carefully sits back down on the couch.

Jace knelt in front of his boyfriend taking his hands rubbing the back of them gently “Of course we can, I promise I won’t let anything happen to you or the babies” he smiled gently although still nervous
