Every hero needs a villain. Professor Zoom brings out the "best hero" in Flash, the Joker wants Batman to break his code to see how similar they really are. This comes as no exception for this new hero to the universe as a new villain emerges as well. The problem however is that their outside lives are starting to get close with one another and that is going to lead to something else down the line for both sides due to the powers of one unknowingly causing a surge. Eventually, they'll both begin to catch on.

Name: Oliver Quinn
Age: 23
Height: 5'7"
Weight: 175 lbs
Appearance: Oliver is Afro-Hispanic, more so of the former than of the latter. His skin is a medium brown often described as caramel. His hair is curly, though most of it is shaved save for the upper area, flowing out like a mohawk. He has facial hair that connects from the faded shaven hair down along his jawline to his chin, where a trail ends a little under his lower lip. His eyes are a light brown. His frame is mesomorphic, Oliver quite muscular for his size given his workout routine before his powers began to manifest. His septum is pierced. Sometimes, he wears glasses or just contacts that help bring out the colors in his eyes.
Occupation: A journalist, specifically a rising news anchor.
=======================

A lot of people liked to say crime never payed, but they didn't see those who actually got away with their bank heists. That wasn't the case here presently as he arrived while some of the other heroes were busy. It was best to make quite the connection with each other rather than be divided and perhaps some of the criminals were catching on as well as they seemed a bit more unified than usual. Still, he got in rather effectively because of one thing they didn't see: him.

He didn't have the powers to turn invisible. He could simply shrink his size and with a radiant glow around his body -it was pollen he generated believe it or not- he took them out by concentrating it like blasts. Hornet was his codename. He didn't have to shrink down all the time. He actually could just fly in and take them out in his regular height, but that ruined his stealth game, he liked to call it. He enjoyed doing that at times. His body turned to it's natural state, revealing a figure in a sleek black suit with a mask similar to a gas mask. He still needed proper funding to make a better suit, so he took old compression suits from his workouts and put it together, the gas mask actually being something he often wore for endurance, but the glass to it was now tinted yellow.

"That should be all of them" he stated, his voice distorted by the mask as he examined the knocked out figures. In that moment, he began to release pollen from his hands that began to spread out, the scent smelling like lavender. While it smelled nice, it was actually keeping them out cold as he got ready to call in the police.

"Coast is clear" he stated. "Though...this doesn't seem like their usual routine."

He wondered if someone else was behind the heist.

"I have you now demon!" A voice rang out in the building. Suddenly a dart shot out from one of the upper rooms where the offices were. The dart was shot from a slick compact sniper rifle. The dart hitting hornets left shoulder causing him to fall upon the floor. "You demons are all the same." The mysterious figure said "set up a trap with a few of the righteous men and watch them come to you."
The figure stepped out of the office. He was wearing a an old black priestly robe. The hood covered most of his head revealing his face which was covered by a sliver plated mask which had no features but two eye hole which showed two sinister eyes staring back. "Tell me evil one, why is it you love to stop the missions of the rightous?" The figure walked down the stairs and towards hornet seemingly unaffected by the pollen.

Because it was a dart, he didn't hear the sound go off in case he could have moved. The dart hit his shoulder and he fell to the floor in pain. He glanced around towards the direction of the voice and if he wasn't concerned about whether or not the dart was laced with something, he would be laughing right now at the sight. He looked like he was fresh out the Vatican or at least similar to that albino man in the Da Vinci Code.

"Righteous...?" His head tilted quizzically, but he pulled the dart out of his shoulder only after he got close. When he did, he blasted the figure with a concentrated hit towards the chest. "Hate to break it to ya, but you're really delusional and..."

He looked at the costume again, this time laughing a bit. "You should seriously do something about that wardrobe of yours."

He gripped his shoulder, using some pollen, which smelled like eucalyptus, to heal the wound where the dart had struck him.

The figure flew back hitting the wall cracking the bricks behind him. The figure pulled himself off the wall laughing in a menacing tone. "Your small efforts at stopping me demon are futile." The figure took off the robe showing a metallic exoskeleton that seemed almost military. "I am not some righteous soldier. Today you face the priest." The man launched himself off the wall and shooting himself forward at blinding speed hitting hornet full force in the head launching him ascross the building into the office behind the concrete wall. "You will feel my wrath you unholy spawn." The priest said in a growl behind his faceless mask.

Now things were getting serious. While he thought he had won, the joke was on him. This figure, who called himself the Priest, had hit the wall and just got back up with little to no injuries. Just as he had done that, the robe was off, revealing a better looking attire. Hornet had no time to take it in as he was rammed by the man moving at quick speeds. Had he not shrunk down, he probably would have taken the hit. From what he could assess, that mask he wore was filtering his nose from smelling the pheromones.

"There will be plenty of demons here in a few "the priest." He scoffed at the name. "Make this easy for yourself and just surrender."

Hornet was floating in the air, his size back to normal as he stared at the wrecked office.

"Or we can do it the hard way. I don't mind either option."

The priest turned around looking at hornet with his menacing glare. "You underestimate me demon I'm not so easily defeated no matter how fast you are." There was a small whining noise like something being charged up. The priests hands started glowing a light blue. "Now you will feel the purging of the righteous one!" The dark muffled voice yelled behind his faceless mask. As the hands of the priest turned a brighter blue he balled his hands into fist and punched his fist together. A loud and bright blue shockwave erupted from the sinister form of the priest as office supplies, debris, and knocked out henchmen went flying in every direction. Causing all the window in the building to shatter even knocking over a few cars outside the building over on there sides.

That was something he wasn't prepared for. When he heard the whining, instinctively, he knew to either try and stop it or get out the way. Whatever that was he had done, he wanted no part of it. He was a rookie after all. When the explosion hit, he had begun to make his exit for somewhere safe. He got a boost from the wave however, which caused him to harshly hit a few objects, the male hitting a police car as he made it outside.

Some of the officers were still attempting to rally together, but the appearance of a few more heroes arriving per Hornet's request for help earlier were arriving on the scene, especially the city's major hero himself. The bank itself was seemingly in shambles. Hornet took that as the time to make an exit for himself when another hero began to heal his wounds from major damage. His makeshift suit was torn up a bit from the attack, so he definitely needed to leave or risk possible exposure. Priest was it?

The other heroes began to perform rescue attempts and keep most of the large bank from collapsing. Hornet on the other hand went away from his clothes after shrinking to a small size, taking on his civilian identity to help cover the scene with the news when it began to arrive. By the time they did, at least when it was safe for them to get footage, most of the intense situations had escalated. He did of course make mention of himself as Hornet and of this reportedly new villain Priest however.

"Will we see more of them" he stated with the microphone in front of the camera. "We will have to find out! Oliver Quinn reporting for S42 News."

The night was still young mostly, so the male took himself to one of the local cafe's. He needed a little coffee after that situation.

As more heroes began surrounding the broken building priest became angry. He turned grabbing his cloak and theduffle bags of money his henchmen gathered before being knocked out and ran toward the vault. He used his shockwave blast to blow a hole in the ground of the vault causing a tremble on the entire city block. The hole burst an opening to the sewer system below the bank where priest made his escape. "You have not won the war yet demon, I shall return more fierce and vigalant than before." He told himself as he ran through the sewers that lead all the way out of the city.

Oliver sighed deeply while having some coffee to himself. That was his first actual fight against another supervillain, which ended terribly in his honest opinion. He played around with his phone a bit while looking at the app that was carefully hidden. It was a place to connect with other heroes a part of the League. He scheduled an appointment with one of their suit designers as he was going to need something to help him the next few times around. He should have done it earlier, but he was a bit prideful in not wanting to get something new. Now he really had no choice. He put in a request to meet the person a day after tomorrow. Tomorrow was a bit special for him in a way like it was for most. It was Valentine's Day and while he was one of the people who was never sold into the Day of Love, he did have someone he had been seeing for a a few months that probably could use some company tomorrow.

"You around" he sent off in a text, waiting for them to respond. They both were busy usually in the daytime with their jobs, but he didn't feel like being alone for the night so to say.

As priest made it to his layer just outside the city he hung up his cloak and took off his mask revealing a handsome and chiseled face. He seemed elegant and had a walk of pride as he went over to put the large bag of money into the safe on the far end of the wall just beside a statue of a knight. Furious with himself for not killing that demon hornet and letting him get away. It was not like him to make mistakes. Suddenly he heard a buzzing sound coming from his table next to his armory. It was his phone going off he must have received a text. As He walked over to pick up the phone he saw it was from the news man he met just a couple months prior asking If he was around. He responded "I'm just coming back from a buisness transaction I should be in the city shortly." He pressed send.

"Great..." he wrote on the keyboard of his phone when reading the text, but he didn't send it off just yet. The male was having a hard time thinking of what else to write. He was a bit awkward with situations like that, which made him chuckle, mentally, at his slight pathetic attempts to try and think of a good way to sound excited, but not overly excited like a giddy school girl. "Mind if I stay for the night?"

He sent the message and finished off his coffee. He never knew how Jamie would respond to the text. From what he was told, the male was a Marine off tour and presently working at a firm of some sort. Strangely enough, they actually met at this exact coffee shop and ran into each other again when Oliver was reporting on an event for wounded Veterans. Just because they were vibing for a good set of months and even gone on a few discrete dates to test the waters so to say, he still didn't want to make it seem like he was intruding so to say. Hopefully tomorrow could actually change some things around. Presently, he knew two things though: He was done with the food he ordered and the nice warm coffee as well and that he needed to freshen up. He did just escape from a botched attempt at saving the day. He was certain there was a smell on him he didn't want to awkwardly explain. He left after paying, climbing into his car to head back to his apartment for the most part. He drove off into the night, hoping to at least put a bad situation behind him for the time being by spending time with someone he probably could say he loved so to say. This Priest villain would show up again and he would be certain to be ready for him this time around.

As Jamie changed into some nicer clothes he received another text. It was Oliver again asking to come over to his house. Jamie wasn't one to allow people over to his house ,mainly because he had a secret base behind one of the bookshelves in his basement, but there was something about this Oliver Jamie liked alot. Jamie responded with a short text saying "sure that would be great." Then Jamie added his address. He then went to lock up his warehouse and drive over to his home to meet with oliver. Hopefully that demon hornet won't make anymore appearances tonight.

The response arrived when he came into his studio apartment on the third floor of the complex. Jamie had given him the address and Oliver smiled as he opened his door. His clothes came off as he stepped into the shower quickly after locking the door behind him. He wasn't a messy person by any means. His apartment was decently clean for the time being and when he was done with the shower, it would just be one brief naked walk to pick up the said clothes and toss them in the dirty clothes basket. For now, he relaxed to the hot water and soap.

He arrived to the address forty-five minutes later, the male freshened up all over, but unlike the suit he wore before to be professional, he was wearing a black T-Shirt that hugged around his muscular frame, gray slightly baggy warm up pants and shoes that had a black and neon green color to them, made for running obviously. He knocked on the door after texting that he arrived, awaiting Jamie to let him in.
