((XD, yeah. Uh, we could skip to when Morrison is a bit better and they're looking for a house and job for Jamie? Maybe Morrison thinks that he's able to leave after 3 months but Jamie and the government tells him differently and he finds out he has to stay for an entire year.))

They'd been living in the hospital for almost 3 months now. The basis for their say was Morrison hadn't regained his full balance yet. The middle-aged omega's body needed some time to recover. Oblivious to Jamie, the secret exercise regime of Morrison's stalled the recovery... but now that he was able to move around fairly normally, his exercises paid offf and the omega was again in his prime form - except for his "breasts" which continued to be tender.

Jamie had just finished an interview at the corner of Morrison's room. sighing deeply, he stood up from the stool against the white background. The virtual interview needed that space so Morrison had went out to the corridor with Tessa. He then heard a chirp - Morrison had a message.

"Mori? It's done.. and you've got mail." Jamie said heading over to fetch his mate and child, smiling when he saw how he was almost gingerly holding the child - most of the time it was Jamie taking care of their baby girl, and Morrison had just been permitted to leave his bed. It just takes some time for Morrison to warm up to holding the baby...

The three, almost 4, months they had been away from the ship had left Morrison constantly annoyed, he hated the fact that he had to leave to give birth when they had a perfectly good medbay to do so. He hated the rules that dictated the earth, living in space with his crew was much easier than being on land and yet here he was. Basically trapped on earth with his makeshift mate and their new child, he looked down at her sleeping face and couldn't help but smile. Despite hating the situation he was in, he couldn't hate her, she was beautiful and so chubby, his fingers carded through her smooth blonde hair and pressed a kiss to her forehead.

He looked up at the door to their room, he had been sitting in one of the rocking chairs at the window of the hall, blinking lightly and nodding,"Okay." He replied to Jamie, looking down at their daughter again and stroking her cheek with his thumb before holding her out for Jamie to take. "Did you check who it is from?" He asked, not wanting to waste his energy getting up and it was only spam mail, though he forced himself to his feet anyway. Careful to brace himself against the chair and plant his feet as he stood up beside Jamie, walking with him back to their room.

"Couldn't see it, it's classified as personal and restricted." Jamie shrugged reaching out for Tessa. Their daughter was an angel and although she cried and fuss like how every baby would, she was extra adorable - especially when she was gurgling and smiling. He put Tessa on his shoulder to spare an arm for morrison to grab onto, if he so needed it, but as usual the General didn't take that offer. After their daughter's birth, aside from Morrison's breasts, his hips were probably the only other part that hadn't regained its normal state. His pelvis had opened up for the baby, and even until now, his hips were wider than before, giving him an hourglass shape that Jamie often found himself staring at when walking behind Morrison.

It didn't help that the omega was completely oblivious to his own charm, constantly testing Jamie's self-control from jumping Morrison.

Together they returned to their room. The alert for new incoming mail still blinking at the hologram. Having a feeling that might be from the military or government, Jamie knowingly slipped towards the corner to put Tessa to sleep. The chubby girl giggled seeing her father, the 2 were almost splitting images. "Hello little girl... daddy might get a job.... let's hope they would let daddy bring you to work. Do you want to come wiht daddy? huh?" he cooed over the girl and tickled her playfully, smiling when the baby squirmed around.

"Really?" That excited him, maybe it was from one of the crew mates or even his superior officer offering him his job back, his heart beat came on faster. As he made sure Jamie has Tessa securely in his arms but he instead lifted her up against his shoulder, his hand rested on her back and kissed her cheek again. Gaining a gentle babble and bubbly laugh from her,"So pretty." He smiled and looked to Jamie, despite the beginning of his pregnancy and how he felt towards him for so much time, he appreciated him for giving him their daughter. Despite how she was acquired, he stroked his mates soft, blonde curls and kissed him softly on the lips before hurrying off to their room ahead of them.

He pushed open the door to their hospital room, stepping inside and looking back to his lover as he held open the door for him. Standing in his well fitted nightgown, he walked over to his receiver and lifting it to read the hologram, sitting down on his bed while he did so. Folding a leg beneath him and skimming over what the email had said while Jamie took care of their child across the room. He glanced up at them, the baby squirming lightly and chewing on her hand, he smiled softly and looked down again as he realized what was said to him through the message.

"Wait-" He blinked and sat up more, abruptly and grunting briefly from the pain, still recovering,"What..." He felt his heart sink and he shut his receiver abruptly, a frown on his face,"That can't be right..." He opened it again to read it and felt sick to his stomach,"No. That can't be right. What the fuck." He complained to himself, running his fingers through his hair and frowning in anger.

No matter the time, the alpha always craved for a kiss from Morrison - to any other passers-by it would appear like the big "alpha" was showing his affection towards his petite mate and child, who was clinging onto Jamie... they presented a harmonious scene between them, and Jamie melted against Morrison's kiss with a shy blush rising on his cheeks.

He had Tessa entertained, the pair playing unknown games as the baby danced on her back giggling. The irritated growls that were getting louder and louder finally distracted the two and Jamie looked up curiously. "Mori?" he asked, not sure what was happening. "What is it?" he put down Tessa who had yawned cutely on her crib.

"Bad news...?" he asked, coming over to rest his hand over Morrison's shoulder. He had rarely seen Morrison as agitated since he'd regained control over his body - mostly. His wound had taken long to heal and even now, his tender chest still sometimes caused enough trouble and leaking to have him a bit agitated.

Morrison felt insanely angry as he looked at the hologram,"Horrible news." He felt sick to his stomach with rage from reading the condescending email he had gotten from his employers, the CEO of the Universal Space Regimen had decided what they would do with him. Despite being above the law they decided to go with the law and told him in that usual passive aggressive tone that he would have to wait even longer than he expected to get back to work. He sighed and sank his face into his hands after pushing the hologram message into Jamie's lap so he could read it,"They fucking lied, they told me I could return in three months, but now its a fucking year? It's bullshit." He ran his fingers through his hair and sat back on his bed, sighing.

Jamie had also prepared for Morrison to leave after 3 months, which was why he had been looking for a job so actively. He had planned on returning to work while morrison went up the sky again, but this was...

"But this was so unfair! they broke their promise...." Jamie exclaimed, taking over the machine to look at the message himself. It was indeed the law for any omegas to stay at home for a year - one is to ensure the baby would be preoperly taken care of, another was to ensure the mother will have ample time to rest and recover.... Jamie just thought they would make an exception for Morrison. Looking at his mate, he could only imagine the amount of betrayal he would be feeling right now.

"Mori...." he sighed nudging closer to him, resting his head on his shoulder. "i feel so bad for you... they could not do that to you...." he said raising his hand up and kissed it.

But no matter what they thought, the order was final. they changed their plans accordingly and finally found a place to settle in, with Jamie's hospital nearby and baby-friendly, and Jamie would sometimes bring Tessa with him for work. As a result, few in the hospital was aware that Jamie was not an omega....
