He murphed and nodded "i...ill try to keep that in mind" he says as they approached the castle gates, the guards spotting them and rushing forward to try and grab the king and get him inside. Drakar took a step back when one of them accused him and drew his sword.

The king gave a sharp clear to the guards a look of true distain. He then told them to step aside if they liked having there drakes. He then allowed his freind to carry him to his throne room where he dismounted only to find gered waiting there. He looked puzzled the boy looked like her been crying?

The dragon looked to the boy curiously but stepped back letting the king deal with him "i...ill go check on the eggs" he says "umm... s...see you later?" He asks wanting to ask 'my room or yours' but decided not to.

Gerde blushed looking to the king as he approached "h..hello your highness, are you ok? I heard you had run off and became worried" he says honestly

The king looked at him with kind eyes. "Why is it your eyes are so red it almost looks like youv been crying?" He was worried something might have happened in the stables.

"Im ok, really" he says. It was ofcourse a lie, he had been accused of being the reason the king had run off by some and that coupled with his longing for home had upset him leading him to go to the stables to be close to the horses who helped him feel closer to his once home.

The king saw the look of longing and then reached a hand out and brushed his cheek. "Why must you lie to me you know I'd never punish you right?"

"i..im not lying to you my king" he says "i really am ok... i guess i just needed some time to myself... how goes Drakar? It wasnt to long ago he laid... he shouldnt be straining his body so soon" he was genuinely concerned for the drake and at the same time hoped to change the conversation.

Drakar trundled his way into his room to inspect his eggs. He was both surprised, ans unsurprised to find several guardsmen waiting in the room with one of the large breeding drakes with them, plans to knock him up again not including a few days respite.

The king smiled and said kindly" you miss your home don't you I bet you'd like to go back to visit your homeland I can arrays that." He then said with slight irritation " I'll go check on drakar my guards are more than likely up to somthing he headed to drakars room and opened the door just in time to see them let the large drake go. The king stepped between the two arms out wide. Be turned his sour clear on the guards who graves the drake and left promptly.

Gerde blushed when the king left. He did want that, more than anything, but what would be the payment for such a treat. At the same timer he didnt want to know he would be willing to do anything.

Drakar was shocked when the king jumped in the way of the huge drake that had almost charged towards him. He was greatful that he hadnt arrived any later or he would have been in in an embarrassing situation and possibly tied down like last time so he could be bread. "M...my king" he said mildly alarmed "a...are you ok?"

"I'm perfectly fine what's not OK is my guards disobeying my every order I'll be looking into new garuds men for you asap." He said. He then sat down beside his friend and stroked his neck.

The dragon gave a soft rumble at the petting "they were from the stables... apparently the captain of the mounted guard sent them" he says softly "why cant they get it through their heads im not a baby factory for their mounts?"

" believe me when I'm done they will all know it!" He said then stood up and walked out. "I'll see you later my chambers if you please." He headed back to gered he found him curled up beside his steed melodic. His black coat dappled with gray and white stockings with his great silvery grey horn. He watched and noticed the boy was sleeping. He routed the boy remembered but he did the day he came to the castle. He was scared and alone and he'd had no idea who I was. He saw me and walked right up to me and reached his hands out tears in his eyes. I took his hands and comforted him. "I wish we could be that close once more go back to when I wasn't a king when I was just me and you were just you." He whispered.

The dragon had nodded and let the king go before he turned to deal with his eggs, making sure they were warm and being taken care of propperly. Gered snoozed semi peacefully unaware of the kings gaze. He often slept here, finding more companionship with the mares and stallions than he did with the other slaves of the castle.
