Zane is a dragon who has lost his ability to transform from his human state to his Dragon State unless he finds the true love of his life.Zane is trapped in a cage created from Roots of trees that eungulfed him when he became to power hungry. In the middle of a forest of that once was his home one day a human stumbles upon him and finds him Zane then ask the human to help set him free.

zane looked up from his prison of branches only to find a human walking straight toward him at first he started to panic and then he started to get excited. Zane then spoke his smooth cool town a lot like water over rocks in a brook as he asked the human kindly that was walking toward him. "would you set me free?" Golden eyes glittered as raven black hair shimmered in the sunlight that dapple from the tree canopy above.

Blinking at the site of another person, Luka slowly walked over to him "what did you do to get stuck in there? He asks "how did you even get in there?" He asks

zane grumbled at Luka and said "that is none of your business just help me get out of here." Zane look at luka with a look that was unreadable. his eyes read scared while his body movements read defensive.

"I dont know..." he retorted clearly not impressed at being bossed around "for all i know you could be in there for a damn good reason" he says "or whoever put you there won't be happy if i let you go..."

zane retorted "i was put in here by an evil spell caster this forest was once my home please set me free" Zane knew he was bold face lying but hed been traped in that cage for 20 years. he wanted out so bad he started to cry.

The human hmmed a bit then sighed and shrugged walking over "ok fine... lets see how the hell will i do this..." he thinks aloud "i dont have any tools nor can i do it with just my bare hands... unless there is some trick to it..."

"there is a knoby rooot by the base of the tree twist that andd set me free." he hoped his instincts to get out were right. as he watched the man closley.

He hunted for it having some trouble finding it. There was something about this whole thing that was nagging at him, but he placed it to one side when he found said root "so... i just twist this hu?" He asks "you better not be settin me up or anytjing" he says beforw doing as he was told

The cage pulled back the root receding into the ground. he stoo up to reveal he was well oveer six foot. he then steped forward and said shaqkiely "thank you" he looked at the man slightly amused by the look of shock on his face.

"Your taller than i expected" he mumbled looking him over "your free now... hope i wont live to regret it"

"wait!" "would you mind staying here a while longer? my my name is zane what is yours" he shifted uneasly. he hoped the man would stick around.

"Luka" he replied "i guess i could stay a little longer... the packs dont come out this far normally" he adds now seeming to be some chased thing

zane frowned "packs?" He looked confused for several seconds before going back to normal. he then sat down and patted the ground beside him.

He sat down with him and gave a sigh "head there admre some werewolf packs in the area"

That's when zane decided to tell him the story of the werewolves and a great dragon. "Once there was a magnificent gold dragon who owned an enchanted woodland. He believed that he was the most powerful creature in the world. He decided to stake his claim to power by challenging the werewolves to a battle over teritorrie. Having won all battles for lands prior he felt it would be a sure win. But when he arrived there were ten of them and one of him. He smiled all cocky and proceeded to battle them anyway. He stood no chance as the battle when on the werewolves knew something he didn't team work. As the dragon strughled to keep there hands and teeth away he fell right into there trap. One werewolf in wolf form luanched from the group and bit his shoulder then more followed heading body part after body part. Then the dragon fell. The werewol left the dragon to die and he was never heard from again!" Zane looked sad for a moment then smiled again.

He had hewrd that story before, and his version was very different. The version he knew the werewolves had stepped in to stop the dragon who had been a brutal tyrant and had been slaughtering everyone just to get gold and land. But he stayed silent just listening for now.
"Interesting story... where did you hear that one?" He asks

"ummm the errr birds told me it" he shuffled unconfortably.

"You speak bird?" He asks raising his eyebrow "who are you really?" He asks "that was one hell of an elaborate cage that seemed too easy to open if you ask me for some magic cage"
