Current Indian Mpreg Projects in Production

Since there are so many Indian films about male pregnancy in production, I wanted to make this thread to keep it a bit more organized so people can see the most up-to-date status of each project. Especially since most are in pre-production and do not yet have titles attached to them. There are already a few Indian mpreg films out there, but this will only focus on those solely in production. To find out more about already released titles , please check out the Mainstream Mpreg thread.

(Also, please do not ask for updates, they will be posted when something new comes up, I follow these projects regularly. Thanks)

1) Naan Seidha Kurumbu
Attached Director: Mahavishnu Krishnamoorthy

Status: Pre-production (?)

It appears as though the production is working on securing adequate funding for the budget. I do not have any current updates for it, because the most recent was last year, however the director did release a test shoot (nothing related to mpreg) for the film a couple of months ago, so they may have acquired at least some of the budget. There is no word yet on the start date for filming.

2) Rrupaali Gupta’s Untitled Project

Status: Pre-production (?)

This one appears to be still in pre-production, could not find any additional news on it.

3) Ekta Kapoor’s Untitled Project

Attached Actor: Rajkummar Rao
Status: Pre-production (?)

This one was actually planned to begin filming a couple of months ago (mid-year) and scheduled to release towards the end of this year, however, as you all know, the lockdown happened and production was unfortunately postponed. So, it is currently looking like this film won’t be released until next year.

4) Papa Ji Pet Se Hai

Attached Actor: Diljit Dosanjh
Status: Pre-production (Shooting to begin as soon as Diljit returns to India)

This one is waiting for the lockdown to end as Diljit is currently in the US, waiting to be given the clearance to fly back to India, where shooting will begin.

5) Nimagondu Sihi Suddi
Attached Series Director: Sudhindra Nadigar R
Attached Actor: Raghu Bhat
Status: Production (Filming starts in September)

This 8-episode webseries begins filming in September. They are also in the process of looking for a streaming platform to premiere it on. It may be released late this year, at the earliest.

Bonus) Actor: Ayushmann Khurrana

At the 2020 Zee Cine Awards, actor Ayushmann Khurrana revealed that he is interested in playing the role of a pregnant man. Let’s all pray that he gets his wish! ;)
