Mpreg, Science, and you
#1
So, ElviraTepes sent me this link via PM over on Facebook (one of the only members on here who I'm friends with there):

Mpreg, Science, and you

I found it fairly interesting. Apparentally it is scientifically plausible for anal births to occur. Granted, the cases are pretty old (pre modern medicine and modern technology), but still plausible nonetheless.

Oh, and the author uses quotes from specific sources. The links at the bottome of the "article" actually lead to legit papers. Weird I know.

(And I had no idea where to put this, so I felt this was the best place.)

I couldn't help but notice that in most of these cases the babies don't live.

Yeah. That does seem to be the only negative. But at least we know that it is plausible and we, as a group, didn't completely make it up to appease our interest. The most likely reason is because the rectum isn't as "stretchy," per se, as the vagina, which probably crushed the baby's head...or something like that. Thanks for the pointer though! Big Grin

There's a reason "once Cesareans became relatively safe for the mother and reasonably accessible, no one with the resources to do proper documentation was going to let a rectal delivery happen"
