Did Mpreg help you realize your sexuality?
#1
Hi everybody,

first time posting, so hopefully this is in the right place to post and isn't repetitive.

A little backstory: I have only just started to come to terms with my sexuality (Bi) and I came out to one of my friends a few days ago. He took it fine and all, but one of the questions he asked me was when did I know? I tried to look back and honestly I couldn't think of an exact time when I was like" yep I'm into dudes." When I first discovered I was into mpreg when I was 16 (I knew I had a pregancy kink long before that), it wasn't about the sex it was just about the pregnant man and his figure. It wasn't until a few years later that I started looking at sexually and before I knew it I was watching gay porn and fantasizng about it without any pregancy in sight. The thing is, I'm not the kind of person who shares my kinks with just anybody so when I assuredly get asked again I'll just make something up. I just wanted to share here and see if anyone else had the same experience of entering queerness through mpreg?

tldr; Did mpreg (or possibly other kinks/fetishes) help you figure out your sexual orientation?

No, I realized I was into guys when my (at the time) best friend and I got super drunk and had sex. I accepted that I liked guys the first time I was bottom. The whole mpreg thing just made a little more sense after I realized my sexuality.

I guess with the necessity of genetic material via donor means to a lot of people that one would need to have sex to get pregnant. Sexuality plays no part in it for me, I guess the easiest way to define myself is pansexual and so long as I get pregnant by some means I still reach the end result. I also suffer from gender dysphoria so I waffle a lot on assigning myself a gender. I was born male, but for most of my early life I wanted to be female so I COULD get pregnant. It was the only way that my younger self could fathom that, but I still didn't know HOW women got pregnant as all children do. As I got older and teetered into the trans-life I still wanted to become a woman but stumbled into the mpreg world. I've made an amazing number of close friends here but eventually I met my wife and we discovered a great deal about one another.

TL;DR - I'm still confused.
Don't be famous, be infamous...

PS: My name is misleading, I'm not into much of the dark RP stuff...

In a sense, mpreg made my (homo)sexuality what it is. Around age 7, I didn't know what sexuality was, but I knew how childbirth worked, because I had seen pictures of it. I was horrified when I realized that it caused so much pain, and I decided that I never wanted to feel responsible for putting a woman through that.

On the other hand, I figured that I could help another man through a similar experience. Plus, for some reason, it was hot to think of a masculine man struggling through pain in a similar way, and pushing a baby out through his genitals. At age 8 or so, I used to fantasize about adult men in my community going through labor, as well as other boys my age. In every instance, I imagined myself as the assistant who was helping them give birth.

Even today, I'm not sure whether pre-existing homosexuality caused the fixation on male birth, or whether the fixation on male birth (and fear of female birth) caused the homosexuality.

I have had a similar experience to yours. I'm still coming to terms with my sexuality (I'm 19), but for me I always had a pregnancy fetish. The problem was I was never attracted to women unless I were to imagine them pregnant. I was also never romantically very interested in women and was too scared to open up about my kinks anyway, so I've never pursued a relationship with one.

Then in my sophomore year of high school I started feeling romantically attracted to a male friend of mine. The sexualized feelings towards pregnancy then transfered over to men too. I felt even weirder about this fetish because of its physical impossibility. Anyway, I'm still not sure I'll be able to have sex with men without having to think of this fetish, and it scares me as I will most likely never open up about it to a partner. I'm not sure if I should label myself asexual homoromantic or gay, but would be willing to try sex to please my partner anyway. As you can tell, I am still quite confused (I haven't come out or talked to my family at all about it either), but I have found myself at least more romantically attracted to men than women.

Thank you for sharing your perspective. It is interesting to see other people's stories about their experiences. This is such a unique kink to have.

I find this discussion very fascinating. When I was quite young, like 4 or 5, I went to the pool with my father and his buddy. There was a BBQ going on as well. My dad's friend got pretty bloated on food and beer and pushed out his belly, and I remember my dad calling him "pregnant" and rubbing his oh so perfect round hairy pregnant manbelly. His friend continued with his antics throughout the afternoon. I even got to touch his belly myself. It captivated me beyond belief. I became fascinated with "pregnant" which meant a round belly to me. I was thrilled to know guys could be "pregnant" since I had only learned of pregnant ladies at the time.

I think it was that moment that catapulted my sexuality... and it was definitely confusing. I didn't come out until I was like 22, so hiding this entire world was tough. I'm a GenXer so there was no internet for me to explore to better understand this. Even now, after being married for 20 years, my husband would never quite understand the gravity of it all, but at least knows the tip of the iceberg.

Thanks for posing the question!

I'm gay but I think I would've been into mpreg regardless of my sexuality. I've always tied my intrest in pregnancy to the way my mind personally analyzes life. Knowing myself and how my mind works, it never surprised me to have pregnancy kink lol

In my case, it's not sexual orientation or romantic attraction, I realized I'm bigender and has a feminine side of me. I'm gynephile which means my romantic and sexual preferences are women. And I wanted to experience what cis-women or biological females get to have, to get closer to women in my life who had been pregnant or given birth as well.
