Has anyone used a corset to simulate?

I just got a new corset (I am a girl and I got it for fashion), and even though it is a cheaper version, it is constricting my breathing and movement, especially when trying to bend at the waist. A tightly laced corset, with a weighted belly on top of it, seems like a good way to simulate full term pregnancy.

Nggh, I've ALWAYS wanted to try this, but it's hell trying to find corsets that work a) for guys b) with severe scoliosis.
