Scott slowly stood up and opened the door. He smiled nervously at her, and said "hi... I think the little ones are planning to arrive today"

She nods before giving him a small smile "How far apart are the contractions?"

"20 minutes or so" Scott said, nervous. And, even though he wouldn't say it to any one, he wondered where was Chris

Sarah nods "I've called Chris, he should be here soon, he's working a delivery right now"

Scott blushed "thank you" he said "you don't need to bother him, I mean, it's almost midnight, he must be tired" he didn't want to bother anyone, and thought that maybe he could wait until morning. He have heard that usually labors could take some time

"He's used to it" She smiles at him "You might want to try getting some rest if you can"

"it's okay, I've been sleeping since I've got the room. Besides, I don't think I would be able to sleep anyway" Scott said, smiling

"Alright, just try not to overdo yourself, you'll need your strength"

[tjopj44]

"thank you, but I'll be fine" he laid on the bed to rest a bit and asked"how will we know if it is the time to push?"

"You'll know, your body will let you know when your ready" Sarah soon leaves Scott to rest, the labor continuing to progress slowly throughout the night.

Scott tried to sleep for a few times, but always would be woken by some contraction. Now it was almost 2 in the morning, and the pain was much more intense.

There was a soft knock at the door sometime around 2:30. Scott slowly making his way over to the door before opening it to see Chris. "How are things coming along?"

Scott held his contracting belly, and said, between puffs "things are going... Fine, I guess. I think they are coming today"

"Maybe" Chris comes into the room, slowly putting his hand to Scott's back before moving over to the bed.

"I hope so" Scott said "I'm tired of being pregnant" another contraction came and he sat on the bed, moaning and rubbing his belly.

Chris runs his hand along Scott's back.

"how dilated am I?" Scott asked softly, squeezing the sheets of his bed. He hoped the baby would come soon.

Chris has Scott lay back so he can check his progress, patting his knee softly a few minutes later "A few small pushes might help speed things along"

[tjopj44]

"how many centimeters?" Scott asked, but started to give small pushes when the contractions hit.

"7 so far, it won't be long now, maybe"
