Is it possible to have an instant messaging system for the forum? PM is slow and cumbersome.

I have previously asked about this and the kids can correct me if I'm wrong but this particular platform for the forum can't support IM. Though I agree about the PM system.

Get kik, there are quite a few of us there, and you don’t need to share your phone number or anything to use it.

True, but it kills my phone's battery.
