I was considering either wearing the silicone belly on the aircraft or packing it away in my luggage.
Will they pull you over for a customs check?
Have any of you done it before?

Your best bet I would have thought is to pack it in your checked luggage not your cabin baggage. That way it's far less likely to get opened and checked and even if it is checked in the baggage system you won't be standing there with somebody opening your case and asking what it is!
