Well, you did. It just happens to be a work of fiction.

Surely the fact that they consider watching "the Arnold Schwarzenegger movie Junior over and over again" as research was a clue that this wasn't serious science? Not to mention if it was genuinely credible science it'd be all over the media and you would not have to go looking for it.
