Nolan blushed even more and put his arms around his neck after a while.
"Let's stay like this for a while..." he asked as they hugged.

Thomas could feel the bump against his stomach and moved a hand to hold it. His other one was wrapped around Nolan. He could feel the baby moving around in there and smiled.

Nolan was a regular guest at Thomas' house as was Thomas at Nolan's house. The mother-to-be focused on his health and preparations for the birth of baby.
He was already thirty-two weeks pregnant and his belly was growing healthily. Its outline was already very visible. But even through this, he had been feeling more discomfort lately. His back and feet were aching. He also felt nausea and heartburn at times.
It bothered him most during stretching exercises.
"Thomas?" called out his boyfriend, who had come to spend time with him "Help me please" he sat on the bed and could not get up.

Thomas had known that growing a baby was hard work, yet he didn’t expect poor Nolan to experience the amount of pain that he did. He felt awful and so he always tried to help him out. Whenever he could.
He heard Nolan calling him from where he was sat downstairs, talking to Nolan’s mum. “I’d better go see what he wants”, he said as he went upstairs to find his lover.
He walked in to see him sat on the bed, stuck. “Hold onto my shoulders”, he said, grabbing his waist. They eventually got Nolan standing.

Nolan sighed quietly, and when he stood for a moment he held tightly to his lover's shoulders as he got his legs used to standing.
"Phew... Thank you," he replied gratefully and stroked back with his hand "I thought a short nap would help me, but it's worse," he said with a weak smile "I'm a nuisance, aren't I?"

Thomas frowned, “of course you aren’t”, he pulled Nolan into a hug. “Don’t say that”.

Nolan snuggled lightly into Thomas's body and began rocking carefully.
"Mhm... You are very patient with me," he whispered with a small smile

Thomas smiled, “of course I am, you deserve it”, he said, pulling Nolan closer to his body.

Nolan hugged Thomas tightly and looked at him with a small smile.
"Will you help me get down to the first floor? I want to eat something salty.... I have a huge craving."

Thomas nodded, holding onto Nolan’s waist and guiding them out of the room, slowing down even more once they reached the stairs. “Hold on the the railing”.

Nolan grabbed the railing and descended slowly with a duck-like gait. He was panting quietly, feeling his every muscle working.
"Why are there so many stairs here?" he whined

Thomas chuckled, “I don’t know babe, ask your parents”. He slowly went down the stairs, matching Nolan’s pace.

Nolan caught the hand of his beloved as he descended the last step.
"I'm so hungry," he replied and started walking toward the kitchen, "Will you help me make scrambled eggs?"

Thomas hummed and led him to a chair in the kitchen. Like his, the kitchen had an island was sone stools so that the family had multiple options as to where they can eat. “Do you want anything else with them?”, he asked, “toast?”

"Yes, toast will be perfect," he replied and sat down with his bottom on the chair. But it was uncomfortable, so after a moment of maneuvering he stood up, leaning against the countertop of the kitchen island. "How good it is to have a boyfriend who can cook."

“I imagine it must be quite nice”, he teased, “when was the last time you cooked something without it burning?” He got out some eggs and cracked them, beginning the recipe.

"Thomas!" he protested indignantly and looked at his partner menacingly "I can cook pasta, eggs, sausages and make drinks.... That's already a big skill."

“Of course it is babe,”Thomas nodded, pretending to agree, “you’re very skilled”. He chuckled to himself, and walked back over to Nolan, holding his waist, kissing him on the cheek.

Nolan softened a bit, and then laid his head on his beloved's shoulder.
"Why are you so wonderful?" he sighed really emotionally. Hormones were strong. "What did I deserve such a boyfriend?"

Thomas smiled down at Nolan, “I could say the same thing”. He rocked them side to side for a moment before going back to continue making the scrambled eggs.
