I made some edits to the Wikipedia page for the manga. As a veteran Wikipedia editor, the synopsis had some problems (no offense). I drastically shortened the plot of the first chapter and added the plot of the other chapters.

LOL, no offense taken, I didn’t even like my synopsis, I just wrote a lengthy one so no one would try deleting the page cause it’s not fleshed out enough. I was going to ask for help rewriting it anyway, and I’m probably gonna need help with the dedicated wikia, too.

As long as they make his prosthetic pregnant bellies look amazing and they keep the overall themes the same and expand upon them, he can look whatever they want, lol! XD

I still kind of wish they made it animated. Maybe sometime in the future if this one is a success.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure it’ll get an anime as well, KHFP is a really popular manga and nowadays studios are giving manga anime and live-action adaptations. So I’m confident they will also make an anime for this, hell, it could be in the development stage as we speak!

So basically there will be a 2-day (11/9-11/10) livestream event called the Netflix Festival Japan 2021 and the release of the trailer and posters for He’s Expecting is scheduled for the second day. (11/10) JST

More details for the livestream will be revealed at a later date.

I love that Kentaro and Aki's relationship is more defined in the series. Also, it looks like they are going to go into more detail over how having a baby affects them as the manga pretty much glossed over it.

Omg the first 7 seconds where a pregnant man goes to labor is one of the hottest belly I’ve ever seen! This show would absolutely be my cup of tea. Bloody hell I can’t wait till March 2022!

I wish she made her drawing more like the way they did in the original manga, but her caricatures of Takumi Saitoh and Juri Ueno are pretty spot on.

So apparently Sakai Eri also has a live action drama based on her other work "Great Tit" coming out. Apparently it has already been in production for quite sometime and will be released before "He's Expecting". It's funny because I got the impression that she is not a well known Mangaka even in her own home country, but by the sounds of it, she is starting to get a lot of recognition. Let's hope that extends to the US.
