The woman nodded her head. First she let Jamie touch the baby's head.
"Amazing feeling, isn't it?" she whispered.
When Filon wanted to touch unfortunately he couldn't reach. Instead, the woman showed him the view of the head in the mirror.

The head felt slimy and Jamie tried not to shudder but the thought of it was beautiful, “it is”, he replied.

Filon sighed quietly. He felt his muscles around his buttocks tighten and swell slightly by the head that had left his body in some sense.

Jamie came back nearer to Filon, using his clean hand to push back his lovers hair and then placing a kiss on his forehead. “Not long now baby”.

Filon sent him the most beautiful smile, and then, holding his hand, felt as if his whole world was beside him.
After an hour of hard work, a beautiful baby boy was finally born. The young parents were finally able to enjoy him.
"We're going to connect some blood to him, because he lost some of it during labor, but he's ok," said the midwife to Jamie "Please enjoy the little one now."

Jamie’s eyes welled up with the pure joy he felt, “you did it baby!”, he exclaimed, reaching out to stroke the babies back. “What do you want to name our son?”

Filon all red in the face from exertion looked at his beloved.
"Jamie... This is our son, so let's think together," he whispered and looked at the child's calm face.

"Kai? Axel?" he asked his beloved.

Filon laughed quietly. Their son was perfect. Their little mix.

EPILOGUE

Filon sat on a blanket in the garden, snacking on strawberries from a bowl. Kai was falling asleep, lying on his thighs. The toddler was already two years old and looking more and more like Jamie. He was his little clone.

Jamie came home from work and found his family in the garden. Family… he never thought he’d have one. Look where he was now. A fiancé and a kid.

Filon heard his fiancé and turned around, waving him happily. He was stroking Kai's back.
"Hi, Professor!" he called out jokingly. His other hand rested on the pregnant little belly. They had recently learned that Kai was going to have a sibling.

Jamie laughed at Filons act and approached them, leaning down to kiss their heads and then the little bump.

"Will you move Kai to the crib? I think it's going to rain," he whispered, looking at the overcast sky

Jamie nodded and lifted Kai up from Filons lap, smiling down at him as he began to wake up.

The boy quietly put his hands around Jamie's neck and laid his head on his shoulder. Filon took the laptop and the bowl of strawberries. He started walking toward the house.
