I want to play so bad! I don't have the computer capacity to do it right now, and I know it'll consume my life...

I'm obsessed with watching Minecraft videos on Youtube. I'm a huge fan of The Creatures.

I'm sort of in the same boat as Jesse. It's one of the many, many games on my "gaming bucket list," if you will, but I need to get a better computer first. All I have is this rinky-dink laptop =(

It does consume my life.
if you don't think you have the computer capacity try this:
enter Terminal (or Command Prompt on WinDOS) and type the following:
java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar /path/to/your/minecraft.jar
I odn't know if it works on Windows.... Sorry NTFATFS fans, I'm a *nix kind of guy.

Just to clarify, *nix is Linux/Unix whereas NTFS/NTFATFS is Windows.
Writing mods is hard!
Java is hard too, I prefer C/C++.
