Mpreg: when a biologically male person/animal becomes pregnant

Fpreg: when a biologically female person/animal becomes pregnant

Alien: when an alien becomes pregnant or when a human is pregnant with alien offspring

Anthro/Kemonomimi: when characters of this nature become pregnant

Normal Method: standard nine month pregnancy with a baby count of 1 – 3

Perpetual Method: when a single pregnancy lasts for an indefinite length of time or when a person experiences one pregnancy immediately after the previous

Extended Method: when a pregnancy lasts for longer than nine months; differs from perpetual in that there is still a definitive length of time, usually predetermined by participants

Egg Method: when a pregnancy involves eggs versus a live fetus

Animal Method: when a pregnancy involves an animal fetus versus a human one; usually this refers to humans pregnant with animals

Vaginal Birth: involved with fpreg, hermaphrodite characters, and sometimes aliens

Cesarean Birth: a surgical procedure involving incisions to the abdomen and womb; first type in a midline longitudinal incision, but it is rare as causes greater blood loss and scars; second type is a transverse incision just above the edge of the bladder, results in less blood and easier repair

Anal Birth: when the baby is born via the anus; most common in mpreg

Penis Birth: when the baby is born via the urethra

Throat Birth: when the baby is born via the throat and neck; could be considered un-vore

Navel Birth: when the baby is born via the navel/bellybutton

Normal Growth: when the pregnancy progresses over a steady, natural period of time

Rapid Growth: when the pregnancy progresses at a faster than normal rate; this can lead to either early birth or a full term pregnancy that lasts for a longer period of time

Delayed Growth: when the pregnancy progresses at a slower than normal rate

Vore: an alternative style of pregnancy in which one person ingests another; may or may not involve digestion

Unbirth: an alternative style of pregnancy which is best described as vore via the anus
