Jared's boyfriend is drafted out for 7 months. He finds out only a couple of weeks in that he is pregnant with their child. Jared wants to tell him but fears what he will say. Now his boyfriend is coming home and he still hasn't told him. What's he going to do??

Jared is settled on the couch at home, eyes watching the clock tick away. A few days ago, he got news that Phillip, his boyfriend of 5 years, is returning home from being drafted. It had been a long 7 months, longer then Jared thought it would be. When he discovered that he was pregnant..... he was petrified at the idea and then even more scared of what his lover would, and now he would know. Phillip was supposed to be hom any minute now. He would have gone to get him at the airport.....but his belly made a problem.

Jared looked up sharply as the door as he heard footsteps and his heart thumped like crazy as the door opened. He was here..... this was it. He stood up, mindful of his new load, and bit his lip, hovering between the room and the hall. He wanted to jump into his arms, cry, kiss him......love him but fear held him back. It was silent in the apartment except for Phillips movements and his quick breathing.

He winced back, eyes watering."Phillips! No.... I just....", his hands went to his stomach, soft and caring. "It's you baby, our son........I d-didn't tell you cause i didn't know if you wanted one..." He looked down, the quilt too much to continue looking at his face. He stood there, shaking.
