The mermen and the octoman had fashioned the newly wed's clothes into a rope, and were playing tug of war.

"Excuse me, can I please have our clothes back?" Marius asked, though he took a more demanding tone.

[FweepFwopFwoop]

"You can have them back when we're done!"
"Once one of us wins, then you can have it."

It was the two mermen against the octoman, and they see me to be in a stalemate.

[Eskal]

"At this rate you'll end up tearing them," Marius stated.

[FweepFwopFwoop]

"Then help me win!" The octoman stated. "I'm stronger than them, I only need a little help!"

"Hey, no fair!"
"Yeah, we agreed!"

[Eskal]

Marius sighed and assisted the octoman.

With one strong tug, the two mermen were yanked to the ground. Grumbling and sighing, they handed Marius the clothes rope. The three then returned to the water. "Please don't flash us again!" One called over his shoulder, and then they were gone.

Marius began untangling their clothes as he made his way back to Astien.

"There you are!" Astien said happily as he waddled toward his husband. "Why are our clothes...."

[Eskal]

"They were playing tug of war with them," Marius sighed. "So they're wet and probably stretched out."

[FweepFwopFwoop]

"Oh no. Well, let's get back to the hotel and get some better clothes."

[Eskal]

"It's better than walking around naked though," Marius said as he pulled on his wet shirt and pants.

Astien shuddered as he pulled on his clothes. "Let's get back as quickly as we can. I don't want to spend any more time in these clothes than I have to."

[Eskal]

Marius nodded and took Astien's hand and headed back to their hotel.

Once back at the hotel, Astien gave their clothes to housekeeping, and began running a bath.

Marius smiled and rubbed Astien's shoulders. "That was fun."

"It was. Thank goodness I didn't burn up."

[Eskal]

Marius nodded. "That would suck."

[FweepFwopFwoop]

"It would indeed. Though I could use a bit of color, don't you think?"

[Eskal]

"You look fantastic as you are."
