Omega blinked his eyes innocently as the alpha spoke this thoughtful assurance. He just touched his cheek lightly, still lying his head on the pillow.
"Oh alpha... I do not require this of you. You know, I have a job too," he laughed quietly

“I know you have a wonderful job, omega. It’s my responsibility to look after you and the children.” Frederick said back to his omega happily and he started to kiss his cheek gently. He also placed his other hand on his stomach and he smiled at Ewen happily.

Ewen blushed and looked at the alpha embarrassed "I don't keep in touch with my parents.... I am an only child.... But that doesn't matter. What about you? How big a family do you have?"

Frederick sighed softly and he said back to Ewen, “My father died in war when I was a young pup and my papa is in a mental facility. He got depression after my father died and he tried his best to raise me. I am an only child too. Before me, my father and papa had tried for so long to have pups. I was their little miracle.” He smiled at his omega happily and he continued to caress his cheek.

Omega looked at him with concern and disappointment. He also placed his hand on his small, slightly bloated belly.
"Oh, I didn't know... I'm sorry. Maybe you preferred not to mention it. Sometimes just thinking about the painful past is a big scar to the heart," he whispered quietly.

Frederick smiled at Ewan happily, he wrapped his arms around Ewan and he hugged the omega tightly. “It’s okay, my love. I got help by going to therapy and the help from my family. I’m not traumatised by it anymore. I’ll continue to do so because of you, my sweet love.” He said back to him happily and he kissed his cheek gently.

Ewen sighed quietly and looked at him with calm and security. He inhaled his pheromones slowly.
"Will you schedule a doctor's appointment for me? I want to make sure our puppy is all right..."

“Yeah, of course darling. I’ll do it now.” Frederick said back to Ewen as he nodded at his omega, he took his phone out of his pocket and he started to ring up the local clinic for his omega.

Ewen lay quietly in the alpha's arms, holding his shirt in his hand. He felt a feeling of inseparability then.
"Thank you..." he whispered quietly, feeling his eyes close with fatigue.

Frederick wrapped his arm around his omega affectionately, he managed to book an appointment for his omega to check their pup’s process tomorrow morning and he looked down at his omega, “My pleasure, my beautiful omega.”

Ewen murmured quietly. He had spent the entire evening in the alpha's arms, feeling safe. So did their puppy, though it wasn't too visible yet.

Frederick stayed with his omega, he placed his hand on the omega’s small bump and he smiled brightly. Suddenly, a small kick hits the alpha’s hand and Frederick exclaimed surprisedly.

Omega, accustomed to such events, did not even open his eyes. He simply put his hand on his tummy and then intertwined his hand with that of the alpha.

Frederick intertwined his hand with the omega’s hand tightly, he wiped away a tear with his other hand and then he placed his hand within the hair of his omega, “You are my beautiful treasure, Ewen. Always and forever.”

Ewen fell asleep with a smile on his face. In the morning, he woke up rested. He looked at his beloved alpha with a calm expression.

Frederick snored in his sleep and he suddenly woke up when he felt his head drop forwards. He looked down at his omega and he chuckled shortly. “Good morning, my love. How did you sleep?”

Omega kissed his cheek lightly.
"Good... Although my back hurts a little," he whispered

“How about a nice cup of tea for that?” Frederick asked his omega happily, he moved his hand throughout Ewen’s hair and he smiled down at his omega happily.

Ewen nodded and then sat down, walking slowly to the bathroom. He needed to get ready. Today he had a doctor's appointment

Frederick puts on a t-shirt, he changed his pants as well and a simple t-shirt with jeans was his look for the appointment with his omega. He carefully combed his hair in his mirror and he puts his gold chain on as well.
