Collin looks at Eric shocked "Oh my god" He says "I feel so sorry to hear that." He hugs Eric tightly . He was planning to give Eric a great christmas as a surprise, with gifts, cookies and maybe a party, but now he understood why Eric was so sad, and he couldn't do it anymore, because Eric wouldn't like it. It was a tauma, and Collin feared he didn't knew what to do to help him with it, except by hugging him and forgetting about christmas
