(It's alright. I actually had similar problems writing this reply, actually. XD Only, I had an idea of what I wanted to reply with, but I just couldn't figure out the best way to put it into words. Hence why it took longer than normal for this reply.)

Leo should have told Garret about being away for a business trip over the weekend, but that's what he gets for assuming the bat would take the hint he was going away. Although he was thankful for the bat being constantly around and extremely helpful while he was down with whatever the illness he had was, shouldn't he have been able to tell Leo was going to be leaving what with the packing he was doing? 

Now, sitting in a meeting that was practically boring him to sleep, he couldn't stop thinking about Garrett and what he could possibly be doing. That, and occassionally drifting to wondering why his middle was slightly chubbier than normal. One good thing: this was the only full day he'd be gone from home. He's supposed to check out from his hotel tomorrow morning and should be back home--with Garrett--by tomorrow evening. That is, if nothing completely derails his chances of getting home in a timely manner. Like construction detours, backed up traffic for no apparent reason, and/or getting involved in a crash. All of which would make Garrett either worry more than he probably already is, or lose faith in Leo ever returning, thinking he had left the bat for someone/somewhere else, which was not the case.

'Please, just get this over with already,' Leo thought to himself, yawning as he was much more tired than he normally is during these meetings.
