With thr pain numbed, Jace seemed to be even bolder in pushing. The baby came all the way out until the bottleneck as before, but Jace mamaged to get it bit by bit outtrr than before. The skin was stretched so tight it was almost paperthin now. It was just a matter of time before the head could make its way out, but before the breakthrough was reached, the contraction waned again and the baby started moving backwards despite the hardest effort from Jace to hold it in position.
