He looked her in the eyes, and with his other hands took the tests. “You’re not crazy. Don’t worry babe. I’m fine.” He said that trying to calm himself for what he knew was to come. He kissed her deeply, maybe even more passionately than he ever had, and told her he’d be right back, and walked into the restroom.
He closed the door and took out the three tests. Fortunately he had to pee already, and made sure to evenly coat each portion of the three. Setting them on the edge of the bathroom counter he pulled out his phone and started to look up information about male pregnancy. “Fuck…” Ryan said, looking at men who were full term, they looked massive. “Is that going to be me?” He said absent mindedly rubbing his abdomen. He set a timer on his phone for fifteen minutes and made himself promise not to look before then.
He then made the mistake of reading about labor, and it concerned him greatly. The idea of being trapped in your own body, as Braxton Hicks made your body lurch and shift, preparing it, regardless of your desire to, to expel your child. He gave her a deep kiss and embraced her without saying a word, and when he broke the kiss he shifted into a hug and whispered in her ear, “you’re going to be a mom, Rhona.”
