Ginny arrived at the gate house of Haven’s Grace on a warm spring morning in early May not knowing what to expect on her day inside the gated community. When Ginny got to the gate the security guard asked what she was there for and who she was meeting. Ginny was surprised by his tone but responded that she was there for the open house and that she wasn’t sure who she was to meet with. Having given the guard her name she was told to head in to the community center in the middle of the town and to wait there for an orientation before starting her day. With that the guard sent Ginny on her way with the directions to the community center and a visitor ID. Ginny thought it a little strange that there walls and such a high level of security for a place that was said to be so open minded but on reflection kind of understood the need for these things with how judgmental society could be. Filled with anticipation Ginny made her way to the center of town and to the community center to start her day and hopefully a new lease on life.
When Ginny got to the community center she noticed that there were a few more people that were going to be attending the open house with her. There was a young woman that looked the be Ginny’s age, a young boy that looked to be just nearly 18 years old and out of high school, and a family with their young baby. When Ginny entered the building the receptionist asked if she was there for the open house, and for her name. Timidly Ginny gave her name and a yes to the open house question. Kindly the receptionist showed Ginny the meeting hall and said that the orientation would be starting in 20 minutes and told her to have a seat anywhere in the hall and to make herself comfortable. With a small amount of trepidation Ginny walked into the hall to wait and hopefully not embarrass herself to much. The young woman noticed Ginny walking in and waved a greeting and invited her over to sit. Hello said Ginny, my name is Ginny are you here to learn about the community as well? Hello Ginny my name is Amanda, yes I’m here to learn too. Amanda starts to tell ginny about how she is trying to start a new life away from her close minded family. Ginny nods and starts to think about why she has decided to take a look at this community and starts to feel that she has meet a kindred spirit in this introduction day. Amanda than asks Ginny why she has decided to come to a community like this and what she is expecting during this adventurous day.
Well says Ginny, I have been interested in having a family since I was a little girl and I would always try to spend time around my relatives when they were pregnant. Always asking questions and wanting to be included in what they were doing and any chance I could get I would want to be close to their bellies. My parents thought it was cute at first but started to get worried when I asked to be there for the births. Than when I wanted to dress up pregnant for halloween every year they took me to a bunch of different doctors to try to figure out what was wrong with me. After a while I started to wonder why my parents were distancing themselves from me. They would leave me at home with relatives or babysitters to go visit other expectant couples for fear of me saying or doing something to embarrass them. Than came the puberty classes in school and that made my parents worry that I would say something at school about wanting to be pregnant and pretending to be pregnant. That is when the psychiatrist where brought in. They ran all the tests they could think of on me and started to treat me like I was crazy. I was put on mood stabilizers and anti depressants and told that I should be trying to think about other things besides pregnancy, and that I had something wrong with me for acting this way. Amanda asks Ginny how old she was when this all happened. I was 10 when this all started with my parents said Ginny. When I turned 12 one of the therapists asked me why I thought I was so interested in pregnancy and asked me if it was an attraction to or something sexual. I had to really think about that for a while. The doctor was very understanding, which was a first for me. As all the other doctors thought I was weird, but she wanted to help me understand my feeling. Doctor Helen was so nice to me, she was the first person to ask me what made me comfortable and how she could help me. We started to explore the things that interested me and she gave me the chance to explore my feelings. She was also the one who told me about this community and what it was about and how welcoming it is. After that when we would meet we would talk about pregnancy and childbirth. I got to learn more about being a woman and what it really meant to have someone care about my wellbeing. When doctor Helen got pregnant she shared everything about her pregnancy with me, let me feel her growing belly, she showed me the changes in her body. It was wonderful.
We of course had to tell my parents that the therapy was working and that Dr. Helens pregnancy wasn’t affecting my therapy. After convincing my parents to let me continue seeing her we continued our learning together. Dr. Helen was the one who told me that I could have a normal life and still pursue my pregnancy wish. Than I met a boy that was like me, he wanted to be pregnant too. At first I thought he was just trying to be nice to me, but I came to find out that he was in the same situation that I was and had been trying to hide it from his parents too. We talked for a while and started to go to group therapy together. That is where things started to get interesting. We got to role-play being pregnant and learned about being respectful of our bodies. We were doing go until our parents found out that we were not being “fixed” to their liking and were forced to leave therapy. From than until just recently when I turned 17 I wasn’t allowed to go out of the house for anything but school. Amanda looked on in concern and wonder, just thinking that Ginny must have really wanted a new start to life after talking about how her parents had treated her. Amanda reaches out to hold Ginny’s hand with a tear in her eyes and says that she hopes Ginny can find some peace in here life.
The host of the orientation walked in to start the open house. “Welcome every body and thank you for joining us today. My name is Rebecca and I will be the host for todays orientation. I would like to start with some of the rules for your stay in the community today and answer any questions that you might have before you are sent to the families that you will be spending the day with. Firstly we are a community of open minded individuals and we believe in being open and truthful with each other, with that being said when you leave the meeting hall today we ask that you disrobe before entering the community. We understand that this might make some of you uncomfortable, but be assured that there is no judgement of any body here. While you are in the community today the meeting hall will be locked and you belongings will be safe. Next there is absolutely no sexual contact during this this introduction day. Anyone found having any sexual contact with be immediately remove and be arrested. You are going to see a lot of strange things today including some of the men in our community that are pregnant. That is a normal thing here and we embrace pregnancy at a sacred thing here. Now before we head out for the day are there any questions?” Ginny raises her hand and asks if all the families they are spending the day with are going expect anything from us today? No says Rebecca all we ask is that you keep an open mind and ask questions when you have them. If there are no other questions we will get started. I would like everyone to stand up and follow me to the next room when we can disrobe and meet up with the families that you are going to spend the day with.

The first time in the community
Ginny and Amanda got up and head to the changing room with Rebecca, while in the changing room Ginny and Amanda notice some tattoos on Rebecca’s stomach. Before either of them can ask Rebecca leaves the room to meet up with the other visitors. Ginny leaves the changing room and exits out to the town where she meets up with the other people to find out who she will be spending the day with.
When Ginny comes out of there changing room she is the only one there with Rebecca. Where is everyone Ginny asks. They have all gone too their families that they are spending the day with say Rebecca. You are going to be with the founder of the community and his family today. He has taken an interest in you and your story and has invited you to join him. I know that this is a big surprise to you says Rebecca, but this is a good thing our founder is the best person for you to spend the day with and answer all your questions for the day.
So I wall take you over to his house so that you can start your day off, and he can guide you you from there. On the way to the founders house Rebecca and Ginny continue to talk about everyday things and what is going on in the outside world. After a short while Ginny and Rebecca reach the founders house and walk through the gate up to the front door. Rebecca knocks on the door and waits, after a minute the door opens and as the door opens Ginny gets her first look at the founder. The founder is a tall, tan man in his late 20’s with the beginnings of a baby bump showing and what looks like small tattoo’s going across the top of his bump and what looked like early developing breasts with large brown nipples and areolae. Slightly taken aback Ginny stares in wonder at the first actual pregnant man that she has ever seen, Rebecca says that this is Mike the founder of Haven’s Grace and introduces mike and Ginny. Mike and Rebecca say their hello’s than Mike turns his attention to Ginny who blushes at being caught staring. Before she leaves Rebecca asks Ginny if there is anything she needs before she goes, Ginny says that she thinks she will be ok and says goodbye to Rebecca.
Welcome to Haven’s Grace Ginny, as Rebecca said my name is Mike and I am the founder of this community. I can tell from your expression that you have many questions and i hope to answer all of your questions today. To start with I will give you a brief history of Haven’s Grace and how all of this came about. I came up with the idea for this community while I was day dreaming in a high school history class. I was always fascinated with pregnancy and the thought of being pregnant. From a very young age I was interested in pregnancy and I would hide the fact that i would dress up pregnant from my parents. As i got older i continued to dress as a pregnant woman. I eventually joined the military and learned of some experimental gene manipulation that was done with the special operations community that had some interesting side effects, without going into too much technical detail the gene manipulation made it possible for the body to become fully capable of safely functioning with both sets of reproductive organs in the male body with would make it possible for a man to become pregnant and carry the child to full term with out the risk of massive bleeding and death to the carrying parent. As you can imagine I wanted to find out as much as I could about this process and how I could become a part of the test group. After a lot of testing and even more counseling I was finally admitted into the program, and I was overjoyed to say the least. We found that going through the process at a slower rate caused less stress on the body and helped the body to accept the changes with a high success rate.
For my test group we slowed the whole process down by two years. A look of surprise cross’s Ginny’s face. The original regiment was old 6 months and caused an extremely high attrition rate. How high was the attrition rate? Ginny asks. It was a 95% fail rate before the change. Mike says. After the change the rate dropped to 35% fail. That extra time gave me the opportunity to learn as much as i could about everything behind the manipulation and how i could possibly bring this process out of the military and into a private community of like minded individuals that would like to experience the miracle of carrying a child to term and give birth. So for the two years that I was going through the gene therapy I worked with the doctors to determine all of the ramifications of what we were doing. One of the interesting effects we found was that the children of the individuals that went through the gene therapy were born with the abilities of the dosed parent while still retaining their birth gender.
Well that is really interesting said Ginny but what I’m still trying to understand is how all this community came about? I mean I understand that there are other like minded people like us but how did you find all the people in this community and how did you afford all of this? I mean it cant exactly be cheap to run all of this and I can’t really see you just putting an ad out in the news to invite people in. I only heard about this place from my phycologist and a online post I happened to catch in passing.
Those are some good questions Ginny firstly the community was brought together because of like minded ideas and understanding from everyone here as for the location, that took a lot of work to find the right place with the right kind of weather to make everything possible.
When Ginny got to the community center she noticed that there were a few more people that were going to be attending the open house with her.
