"Thank you." Hakuno stepped out of the car with Bree's assistance and closed the passenger door.

"Don't thank me yet," Bree laughed. "We have two sets of stairs to go up. The elevator's broken." she looked at Hakuno apologetically.

[PregnantTyler]

"Oh really? Dang..." Hakuno sighed but just being here was something to be grateful for. "Let's go then."

[Meadow_of_Ash]

Bree smiled and extended her arm out for Hakuno to lean on, should he need it. "Okay. It's just over here." she walked over to the stairs. "Ready?"

"Ready." Hakuno walked slowly up the stairs. He had to do it that way so he wouldn't get tired less than halfway up.

Bree kept a firm grip on Hakuno to help him up the stairs. She wouldn't even attempt so in his condition.

Finally, they reached the top. Bree looked over at Hakuno. "I live just over there. You need a break?"

"Yes, please, for just a minute." Hakuno's babies were kicking up a storm about halfway through which really tired him out.

Bree led him over to a nearby bench and helped ease him down. "Better?" she asked.

Hakuno nodded, "Better." He said. "Sorry, the babies are awake and want attention." He looked down at his gut and sighed, rubbing his swollen middle.

Bree giggled. "I get that. If you don't mind me asking, when are you due?"

[PregnantTyler]

"Two weeks" he said, overwhelmed that he had very little time to decide how to support the twins without a roof over his head.

[Meadow_of_Ash]

"Got a plan? Like, are you prepared? Aside from delivery, of course, because that's what I'm here for."

[PregnantTyler]

Hakuno looked nervous and shook his head "no..." He answered sadly "My parents threw me out last week, so I don't know what to do."

[Meadow_of_Ash]

"Oh, that's horrible." Bree said. "I'm so sorry, Hakuno."

She looked over at him as an idea popped into her head. "For the meantime, you could stay with me. I can't just leave you out in the streets."

[PregnantTyler]

Hakuno looked hopeful but didn't want to be a burden on Bree. "Well, that would be very nice of you, but are you sure that's okay?"

"Of course! I've actually been looking for a roommate so this is perfect!" Bree said.

"O-oh! That's great then!" Hakuno smiled "Should we go inside?"

[Meadow_of_Ash]

"Sure! Here," Bree said, extending her hands. "Up you go."

Hakuno grabbed her wrists and slowly got up. He began waddling to the door.

Bree got up to unlock the door, swinging it open for him. "Go right on in."
