Marius stayed with his husband, trying to keep his spirits up.

Hours passed, and the sun began to set.

"Another night of no sleep. I'm so excited." Astien groaned.

Marius held Astien. "You'll pull through."

"Help me into the carriage."

[Eskal]

Marius nodded and helped Astien back to the carriage.

Astien groaned and screamed in pain. "It hurts so much!"

[Eskal]

"You can do it, Astien."

[FweepFwopFwoop]

"I don't know... If I... I can."

[Eskal]

Marius kissed Astien's lips. "You can, Astien."

Astien groaned, and laid himself on the bed.

[Eskal]

Marius stroked his husband's hair and hummed softly.

Astien took deep breaths and groaned and whimpered. "I just want to sleep."

[Eskal]

"I know, Babe."

[FweepFwopFwoop]

The night proceeded much like the ones prior. Astien cried and yelled in pain as contractions swept over him. Morning came and it was still the same. "If this keeps up... I don't know what I'll do."

[Eskal]

"there's not much you can do," Cormac said.

Astien whimpered. "I know." Covered in sweat, he once again was taken to the stream, where he sat against the rock, taking deep breaths. Contractions came and went as usual. "Ugh, I feel awful. Oh, OH!" Astien reached out and grabbed Marius' arm.

Marius held Astien's hand. "You're doing great."

"I feel the need... To push! I think he's actually coming now!"

[Eskal]

"That's fantastic!" Marius cheered. "Wyn! Cormac!"
Wyn ran over from the fire pit. "Is he coming?"
