He felt grateful for the blanket. He stopped pushing for a few moments to regain his strength when another contraction came. He had no choice but to push, almost screaming from how he felt his anus slowly stretch in a way he didn't think was possible.
He felt thankful for the oxygen and was happy that he was already crowning. Sweat was all over his body and he felt his hair stick to his skin.When he stopped pushing again, he gently pulled out a hand to feel the baby's head. He couldn't help but softly smile as he couldn't believe he'd be seeing his daughter soon.
He took a long sip of the water, feeling it keep him awake slightly. He didn't rest for long because he felt another contraction and the urge to push. He began pushing again, a scream escaping from his lips and tears and starting to form.
Aaron pushed more as he felt another contraction come midway. He panted wildly as he pushed and screamed. He felt the baby's head officially at crowning point and slowly push out of him, "pull her once her...shoulders are out."
He could only nod weakly as he pushed again, clenching his already tight fists until he felt he was starting to bleed from them. He moved them over to the bed sheets as he clenched the bed sheets, lifted his head a bit and pushed, "Ah!"
He gave a weak nod, "okay" his voice was hoarse and weak. He felt weak himself, like he was gonna pass out but knew he had to get her out. He pushed again, letting out another scream.
Despite how gentle Daniel pushed her out of him, he felt his anus stretch more for the shoulders. He let out a cry until the baby was completely out and his cries were replaced by the baby's crying. He sank back down to the damp pillow as he watched Daniel clean the baby up and wrap her in a blanket. He managed to find his strength to sit up, "let me hold her."
Aaron held the baby in his arms and smiled as he kissed her forehead, "I was so worried about you..you weren't supposed to be born yet, especially during a tornado. But here you are and I'm happy you're here." He knew the paramedics would be able to see if there was anything wrong with her. For now, she seemed fine and he was happy for that. He kissed him back, "my late boyfriend and I picked names before we even knew the gender. I feel like she needs to have some connection with her biological father so her name will be Enoka. I pick Selene as her middle name because I liked it and she was born in night after the goddess of the moon." He looked at the clock and saw that it was 2 in the morning.
"Oh no it's fine." He replied. He began to breast-feed Enoka which she immediately learned how to suck, "are you sure you want to go up? It might be a bit dangerous..."
Aaron knew he couldn't change his mind. He only sighed, "alright...but be careful."
Aaron knew when she was finished and lifted her gently. He patted her back gently and made sure she was sound asleep. He wrapped her in his arms to keep her warm as he wrapped himself around the blanket.
Feeling the baby was asleep, the tiredness of labor finally got to him. He knew that he shouldn't go to sleep and waited for Daniel to get back.
"Daniel?" He called out once he heard the door shut, "did you get anything?"
Aaron nodded, "I figured that would happen. Morning would be best. You tired?"
"Exhausted and weak." He replied honestly, "you can sleep with us if you want. I don't mind at all."
"You're not going to scare me at all. And the more body warmth, the better." He replied.
Aaron held the baby closer to his chest as he snuggled close to Daniel. He didn't realize how much he missed sleeping next to someone. He kissed him back. The aftermath of labor was taking over him now. He closed his eyes, "Good night."
"Mm." It was all Aaron said before falling to sleep almost immediately.

Aaron would've slept peacefully if the baby didn't start crying around 7 AM. He heaved himself out of his slumber as he held her to feed her again, "please calm down, Enoka. Daddy needs his sleep."
Aaron smiled as he kissed him back, "okay, be careful."
