Ryne knew he was distant from Coatl and didn't know how to approach him with such matters. He was raised to serve the naga and to do his every bidding. He was trained since birth for this moment and now everything seemed to be thrown out the window. Coatl treated him respect and love, something the elders never could've expected from the powerful naga. He was determined though to please Coatl as best he could.

Coatl busied himself with preparing breakfast for his wife and gathered a fistful of fresh flowers from the shrine's gardens as a surprise for him. He set everything on the tray and carried it back to Ryne.
