C The Doctors Babies (With Lovebite)

Chris nods "I'll see about having a bed or a recliner brought in, but hopefully it won't come to that and their fever will break"

Eric nodded and stepped towards Chris, wrapping his arms around him and squeezing him tight in an embrace, it was a silent thank you. Before he pulled away and looked up at him again for a moment, then turning to head back over to the twins. Knowing now wasn't the time to talk to him about him being pregnant again, so he just focused all his attention on looking over his babies.

The twins end up having to stay over night but thankfully their fevers break sometime early the next morning. Eric getting to take them home that afternoon. Besides the pregnancy and the growing boys Eric had some pretty uneventful weeks following the incident. Both the boys and the baby or babies inside him continued to grow. He didn't see Chris for a few months as he was away on a assignment overseas to help with diseases.

Eric went along with business as usual, taking extra care of the twins now and himself with his rounding belly, it had been about seven months now, the twins were almost a year old and he was in his third trimester of pregnancy again with Chris gone and only Lukas to depend on. It felt strange to say the least, but he was managing basically on his own, knowing he couldn't exactly count on his boyfriend for anything, it was more or less like being a single parent. He pushed the twins in their stroller towards the daycare center in the lobby of the hospital, they had gotten a bit too big to keep chasing around behind the desk when they crawled around and so he had finally chose to keep them there instead.

The boys were currently still asleep seeing as Eric had to come in for a particular early shift that would last all day. It was strange not seeing Chris around the hospital to say the least.

"Alright, guys. Be good."He said, taking them out of their stroller to kiss their heads then place them on the 'ABC' rug, smiling then standing up straight with a sigh, running his hand over his belly and waving at them as he went to leave. It worked, not thinking about who fathered this one, it was just his baby and no one else for now. He wondered what Chris was doing most of the time, they hadn't really talked about their relationship or anything at all really, he was sure that he didn't even know about this baby. Maybe he should call him, he would like that, he just hadn't worked up the courage to do so.

Eric heads in to work. Chris stays gone for nearly the entire length of Eric's pregnancy, coming back toward the end of the pregnancy.

Eric was sitting at his desk when Chris arrived back to the hospital, looking just like he was about a year ago before the twins were born, his feet up on a box beneath his desk and his jacket slung over his wide round middle as he reclined in his seat. Looking up when a familiar figure passed in front of his desk,"Chris!"He smiled brightly, going to stand up but giving up as soon as he tried to lift himself from his chair,"I'd hug you, but that's too much work on my part."He beckoned him over.

Chris turns to look at him, his eyes widening slightly when he actually say Eric's current state. He shakes it off as he makes his way back behind Eric's desk. "Hey"

Eric reach for him,"Come 'ere, I want a hug."He laughed softly and sat up just a bit to wrap his arms around him tightly,"You didn't say you'd be gone that long."He sighed and looked up at him, sitting back again with a hand resting on his belly,"You came just in time to come with me and pick up the boys. If you have time."

"Things were worse than we thought, so we decided to stay a little longer" Chris hugs Eric back before nodding "Yeah, I don't start back for a few days, just came by to do a few things"

He reached out his hand, slowly pushing himself up to his feet,"Come on, then. They'll be so excited to see you."He smiled, huffing and holding his belly when he pushed himself up to his feet then walking around his desk towards the front lobby.

Chris follows Eric to the nursery, waiting outside while Eric gets the boys.

Eric came out soon enough with the twins, grinning happily as the boys saw Chris and almost instantly squealed in excitement as they bounced in his arms, babbling and reaching for him,"Told you so."He chuckled and came towards him,"You guys missed Mister Chris, didn't you?"He kissed their heads and went to hand them over.

Chris takes them and hugs each of them before kissing their cheeks "Have you two been behaving for daddy?"

They both smiled with their two front teeth, nodding quickly as Jacob giggled some, Logan babbled some more and patted Chris's cheek,"We've been working on speaking, they'll start soon."Eric laughed softly and nudged Jacob's cheek,"Isn't that right, Jake."He smiled, and now they were both babbling."They've been good, as good as two one year old boys can be."

"How have you been?" Chris looks at him as they head out to Eric's car, Chris still carrying the boys. Their was a faint chill in the air, winter would be here soon and with it probably a few feet of snow and ice, and a lot more traffic accidents.

"We've been good."He sighed, unlocking the car and pulling on his jacket as he opened up the car door for Chris to put Logan in his side, while he took Jacob and went around to buckle him up on the opposite side of his brother,"There you go."He said, pulling on their hats then taking out his car keys,"Want to come over for dinner?"He asked, looking up at Chris as he closed the backdoor.

"Maybe another time, I've got a few things I've got to do before tomorrow night" He lightly kisses Eric's cheek before taking his leave. Nearly two weeks later winter had finally hit, and with it one of the worst storms in years. Eric had taken the day off work to stay home with the boys, waiting out the storm.

Eric nodded, smiling some and waving a bit before climbing into the car as they went their separate ways. Though he couldn't exactly stop thinking about Chris for the next few days, he hadn't asked about the pregnancy or Lukas. It was a bit strange to him but he let it go, he was happy to have a day alone with his boys, maybe they could watch a movie together. He held Logan beside him as he ate on a cookie and Jacob sat on what was left of his lap, looking up when he heard the bedroom door open,"Lukas, wanna watch a movie with me and the boys?"He asked, lifting up a box of cookies,"We have snacks."He smiled.
