Nolan sighed quietly. He stroked his belly.
"I don't know... But my parents insist on the hospital. I had some complications during my pregnancy, and for the sake of the baby, the doctor suggested giving birth in the hospital."

“That might be a good idea”, Thomas started, “but remember it is up to do, so do whatever makes you feel best”.

"This is the first time I've been pregnant... I'd like to be well cared for and see what childbirth is like," he replied and sat down, placing a pillow under his back, "Maybe next time I'll give birth at home."

“Yeah that’s understandable”, Thomas said, he looked at the time in his phone. “Well it’s getting late now, I’d better head home for tonight”, he told Nolan, “gotta be up early tomorrow”.

"Alright... I love you," he said goodbye with a kiss and walked him to the door.

Six weeks later it was early December. In outside was already covered with snow and there was already a festive atmosphere.

Nolan was decorating the room with ornaments. For the last few days, he focused on decorating the baby's room and packing his bag for the hospital. He was increasingly stressed about the day his baby was born.

Thomas had almost finished school, just a couple of months left until he could graduate. He was walking home to dump his bag and then go over to Nolan’s.

At this point he just opened the door and let himself into Nolan’s house. “Nolan, I’m home”, he called out.

Nolan opened his bedroom door.
"Thomas!" he called out with a smile, "Come on, I'm not coming down. My feet hurt," he laughed quietly and stroked his back

Thomas laughed and made his way upstairs, he saw Nolan standing in the doorway and chuckled to himself. He looked so cute these days, with his massive belly and his chubby, rosy cheeks. “Hi baby”, he said, giving him a kiss.

Nolan cheered up. He hugged his partner.
"You missed, didn't you?" he asked with a big smile, "Because I missed a lot."

“I did miss you”, he replied, “what have you been up to today?” He looked around the room and saw a bit of a mess but also a bag that had been packed with clothes and other items.

"I've been decorating the room and doing some cleaning.... After all, it won't be long now," he stroked his belly and looked at Thomas "You'll have more people to love."

“What a good idea”, Thomas praised, moving to pick up the extra clothes from the bed, “I’m guessing you aren’t packing these clothes”, he said.

"I don't know yet..." he whispered quietly and sat in the chair slowly "I have everything packed for the baby."

“Have you packed for yourself yet?”, Thomas asked. He hung the clothes in the handle of the wardrobe for now, and sat down next to Nolan, “how are you feeling?”

"I have toiletries, towels.... But I don't know about clothes" he replied and laid his head on his beloved's shoulder "I'm very tired.... I've already taken two naps today."

“Why don’t you have another little nap then”, Thomas murmured, “I’ll finish up the packing, I’m sure I can figure out what you’ll need”

"Mhm..." he whispered and looked at him with a weak smile "And do I get a kiss before my nap and lots of love?" he asked. Now he needed a lot of affection.

He chuckled pulling Nolan close and giving him a deep kiss, “of course you do”, he murmured, rubbing a hand up and down his side.

Nolan giggled and put his arms around his neck, feeling the pleasure of closeness with his boyfriend.
"I love you, you know?" he whispered and murmured softly "I'm getting more and more addicted to you..."

“I love you too baby”, Thomas replied, “and I get what you mean, I’ve never felt like this for anybody before”. He put his hand on the baby bump, feeling them move around, “and I love the baby too”.
