"Be glad it happened ... Thirty hours of labor finished me off.... Fortunately, you were my little clone," he replied and looked at Denis, who turned pale "Not every birth takes so long.... But the first one is always more difficult. But you manage" he grabbed his hands "You are young, you have nicely built hips.... Phoenix will take care of you..."

"Dad, c'mon. We only just found out. Don't freak my omega out please..." Phoenix said back to his dad out of disbelief, he scratched the back of his head once again and he blushed out of embarrassment from his dad's words too. He could understand why his omega was pale, he moved to stand beside his omega and he pulled Denis into his arms holding from behind.

Peter apologetically looked at them and stroked the young omega's hand.
"It's okay... One should be happy," he said. Puppies are a great blessing," he replied and looked at them with a small smile "There will be cake soon.... When you calm down, come down to the first floor."

"We aren't saying puppies ain't a great blessing... we will be down soon. We want to talk first." Phoenix responded back to his dad softly, he smiled at Denis and his dad happily. He continued to hold his omega close against his body and he looked at his dad continuously hinting for him to go ahead without them kindly.

Denis when he heard the sound of the door closing looked at Phoenix very softly, even embarrassed.
"Your mother is very caring," he whispered and lifted up on his toes to reach Alpha's lips "I want to be like him for our puppy."

Phoenix chuckled softly when he looked back at his omega happily, he wrapped his arms around his embarrassed mate gently and he whispered back to Denis, "He is very caring. You can always count on my mother to be there for his grandkids or anyone else. You can totally be like my mother with our puppy, love. I love you so much." He lowered himself down to his omega's level and he kissed him back softly.

Denis smiled slightly. Alpha dispelled all his doubts. Omega felt safe and taken care of with him. Phoenix courted him like a Prince Charming. Even today as he picked him up before lunch he handed him a bouquet of flowers. He left it in the car, but knew he would put it on his desk in the room. He will look at it with joy.
"I'm already less afraid... At least now..." he laughed softly "Thank you, darling."

Phoenix had brought his omega a bouquet of beautiful rare flowers, leaving them at his desk and he stood at the doorway after Denis had entered the room. “You’re most welcome, darling.” Phoenix said back to his omega happily and he winked at Denis lovingly as he walked up to him happily.

Denis grabbed Alpha's hand firmly and they kissed gently.
"Darling?" he asked quietly, "Will you manage my pregnancy?"

Phoenix watched his omega's hand, he instantly looked back at Denis's face and he kissed him back gently. He listened to his words, then he smiled down at his omega and he responded back to him quietly, "Of course, I can manage it for you darling."

Denis felt increasingly infatuated with Alpha. He blushed slightly as he hugged even tighter.
"Thank you..." He replied quietly and began to inhale his partner's scent.

"No problem at all, darling." Phoenix said back to Denis softly, he hugged his omega back tightly and he noticed his omega inhale his strong scent.

"It's pleasant..." He whispered quietly in response and looked up high catching the gaze of his beloved "It will be fine, won't it?" he touched Alpha's cheek tenderly

"Of course, love. Why wouldn't it be fine? There is nothing to worry about, I promise you." Phoenix said back to his omega happily, he felt his omega's hand on his cheek in a tender manner and he returned the tender touch by putting his hand on top of Denis's.

Denis looked at him with more comfort. He felt less and less tension. He was a little stressed after all. He was still too young and lost.... But Phoenix was next to him. The father of his puppy.
"You're right... I'm sorry."

Phoenix looked down at him happily, he wrapped his arms around his shoulders gently and he said back to him softly, "You're totally alright, love. You don't have to be sorry, my handsome angel."

"I prefer the word 'beautiful'" he laughed briefly and snuggled tighter into Phoenix's body "We're going to be a family.... Our little pack."

“My beautiful angel then. We are going to be one big happy family!” Phoenix said back to Denis with a wide smile on his face and he lowered down to give his omega a kiss.

Peter cheerfully dipped once he had placed the cake on the table, where his husband and two younger sons were sitting.
"When you guys bring home your chosen partners I will also bake a delicious cake," he replied cheerfully. The news of his grandchild made him very happy.
